Are you scared of an uphill brick? 

OK, then. How 'bout this. I need to re-plumb my new sink and install the new faucet tonight. I may have FUBARed the disposer when I was removing it from the old sink so that could be an expensive little mistake. Plus, the water supply lines may need to be re-plumbed due to fitting incompatibility. Ain't home improvement projects grand?

The good news is that the granite looks incredible. I knew the stone was nice when we saw it in the warehouse under the nasty fluorescent lights but it looks even more beautiful now that its installed in our kitchen.

I can beat that.

I've had 3 beers so far, finished my group presentation that I'm not presenting, because I'll be at a viewing followed by a funeral.  I still have to do my final paper, but, I don't complain about it a whole lot because really, what's the friggin' point?  Of course, I'm in grad school, but it's not like REAL school, because I only go twice a week for about 3 hrs a shot, after working a full day.

That almost sounded mean, so I edited.  God forbid I hurt someone's random feelings.

So, shwammy.....Irish then?  Ya got the red hair?  I looooooooooove red hair.

Soooooo hot.   Want to touch the hair.

I digress.  I drink like a mick, but I'm German.  Of course, I suppose I drink like a kraut then.   Eh, I just drink.

Ain't life grand? 

Another day.  Another 5am jet-lag start.

Sometimes, my travel SUCKS!!

No...talk about a wicked place for an IM. 

Swim the 2.4 miles in the cold lake at Unicoi SP.  Ride the 112 miles around north Georgia with T2 at the top of Brasstown Bald.  A little 26.2 miles around Helen Ga with the finish...back on the top of the Bald. 

Yikes!

I am of German AND Irish decent.  When I get hammered I either want to hug everybody or take it over the world.

I think I did that once with a red head I knew.   I think she married a cop so I am sure I forgot her name.

Will do when the backsplash is installed on Monday. The drain configuration took a little figgerin' as the new sink is quite a bit different than the old but we managed to get it all in OK. Disposer was a real b!tch to re-install. The key, we learned after several failed attempts and some choice words, was putting a little soap on the top rim of the big rubber mounting gasket. Faucet was an absolute breeze thanks to 12" IPS hoses that had the 1/2" connector on the faucet side and 3/8" connector on the water supply side. All told, it was 2.5 hours and two trips to the Home Despot. The only thing left for me to do is put a mounting block on the underside of the countertop for the lazy susan and level the stove. Easy peazy!  

Soon, I'll be off to meet up with some BTers at Chipotle for lunch. I know for sure Sparco and hikergerb will be there with the possibility of rabakman and co_tri_guy. No autumn today, though. Her 'lil E has "early release" from school.
