Is the visor only available to a Danskin participant?

Yes - I'd like it to go to someone who did the event if possible.

I am looking to build by bike repair toolbox, so if anybody has any extra tools just laying around that they are not using or do not plan to use, please let me know. I will pay all shipping costs.

p.s. I have a Shimano BB, but I will not refuse anything you have to offer.

Thanks.

What a great site and great group of people.  Just getting started and already spent a small fortune on the bike and other gear.  If anyone has any XXL Tri Tops, they would be greatly appreciated and passed along!

I have a pair of Brooks Ariel running shoes, size 10 D Wide. They have been sitting in my closet for two years, and I've been meaning to sell them on ebay, but just haven't gotten around to it.

They have 10 miles on them.

When I first started running, the running store fitted me for these shoes. I was 40 lbs overweight and over-pronated. They are stability shoes with lots of padding, so are good for both those problems. At some point in my running career I was no longer heel striking, so I decided I wanted a lighter, more flexible shoe. The lighter shoes felt great but hurt a bit on long runs, so I bought another pair of these for my long runs. After one long run, I decided I liked the lighter shoe better, so that's why they only have 10 miles on them.

I'd like to get reimbursed for shipping, but otherwise, anyone can have them. Thanks!

Should I assume this is only a womens shoe or is it unisex? I only ask because I am a size 10 also.

thanks

It is a women's shoe, tho it's not pink or anything. Size 10 would be women's size 10. Here's a picture...

I've seen a few folks post requests for specific items in the past couple days.

Just a quick reminder, as greenmtnman said earlier in the thread, "This is supposed to be a post purely for giving stuff away.  If you want something you should post that under the general classified thread."

The idea of this thread is so great and pure.  Let's please try to keep it that way.  Thanks.

Can't believe i'm getting quoted on BT.

Just want to emphasize: there's nothing wrong with asking for anything- JUST NOT HERE.  This is a giving (perhaps a trading) thread.

It hasn't been stated in a while- so it's good that TXgreyhound brought it up.

No harm, no foul.

I've got three Trek/Shimano WSD waterbottles. Take one, two, or all three.

PM sent.

Just arrived back from Canada, and on the way out saw people heading to an Ironman and in Canada saw Ironman Canada 08 finisher shirts all around at Whistler!

Makes you want to get out there and race.

I have a XLAB Flat Wing, with the X-Nut.  It has been mounted on my bike but not taken outside. It is a replacement that XLAB sent me. I did not like how it looked so I went with another option.  First PM takes it.

OK, triathletes. Time for me to do a little closet cleaning. I have the following up for grabs. If you're interested PM me the specific item(s) you want and your address. First come, first served. Shipping's on me. Just remember to Pay It Forward.

Clothing:

  • 2006 Turtleman Triathlon Race shirt. Nice looking technical fabric t-shirt. White with a big, colorful logo on the front. A couple of sponsor logos on the back. SIZE M
  • 2007 Turtleman Triathlon Race shirt. Same as above only gray.
  • 2007 Lake Waconia Triathlon Race shirt. Same as above. White. Not a sweet logo, just another average race tee.
  • 2006 Colon Cancer Coalition Run shirt. Long sleeved technical shirt. Black with a small logo on the front and sponsor logos on the back. I'll call it SIZE S since it seems small to me.

Other stuff:

  • Saddle off my '05 QR Kilo. It was a major a$$ hatchet/taint buster for me but it might work for you.

That's about all for now. I'll post updates with what's left as I'm able.

Cheers!

Tom
