Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge billsorg - 2010-02-26 8:57 AM Yet another snow day for the kids... I think that makes 10 for the year. The roads were pretty bad and I thought about turning around and having my own snow day, but I made it in to work. I'm going to go to the Y at lunch and knock out the rest of this month's running goal and then take the entire weekend off. It's my daughter's 7th birthday and we have a bunch of family coming over tomorrow, so I'm very much looking forward to that. Oh, did I mention that I am soooooo tired of the freaking snow!?!?!? It's Cole's 7th birthday this weekend too! His is the 28th. Hopefully he is healthy by then! Got antibiotics for him today so we have a shot at it! |

I still need to register for my planned HIM. I think I hyperventilate just a little every time I even think about it. Maybe that will be my celebration for finishing my half mary this Sunday....Taught a great strength class today then went for my run...had to cut it a little short but got it in. Need one more to make my love goal, might be able to squeeze in an extra too! I fell short on my swim and bike goals this month...I think not having them "count" for the challenge allowed me to slack when I shouldn't have....although I will say my body liked the break! Your registration is complete! That is what it said after I hit submit...I think I am going to be sick! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Hope there are many happy birthday celebrations this weekend. My baby brother was born on the 29th. We used to tease him mercilessly that we would not celebrate his birthday unless in actually appeared on the calendar. I think he is 11 and a half now in birthday celebrations. |

Danielle's b-day was yesterday but, as always, we seem to have multiple celebrations... the FRIENDS birthday party was last weekend, the FAMILY birthday party is this weekend, plus you have the SCHOOL birthday party. Hope you are all feeling better. With antibiotics, you should all be turning the corner. |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge Last day of the challenge, team! I updated the spreadsheet and we're close to 95% of goal. Make sure you put in your final numbers and, if you're up to it, get in that last workout. Outstanding job, everyone! We had a lot of advertisty this month so, regardless of the outcome, I think we should all be proud. As we enter March (YIPPEE), let's hope for warmer weather, less illnesses, and an injury-free training season! GROUP HUG!!!! |

Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: Hugs - February Challenge I finished the month with a horrible LSD run Saturday that put me at 108% but haven't been able to get on-line to post it until now. The run was quite the contrast from my wonderful evening run the other day. I started out running into a headwind and my right leg started to cramp before I even went a mile and I couldn't seem to catch my breath. Had to stop a few times to stretch it out. It eventually eased up enough that I could finish my run. I also beat my mileage goal but missed my weight and posting goal. Not a bad month all things considered. I hope things went well for the rest of the group and that those that are sick get feeling better soon and can join us in March's challenge. I've enjoyed the Hugs this month, win or lose its been a good time. |
