kns57 - 2009-04-05 5:41 PM And I've done 5 loads of laundry today. Baked a blueberry cake and have dinner actually planned out. OMG Of course there is a mountain of laundry that needs folding. Any takers?
Blueberry cake????????????? I'll fold laundry for cake.

X2

X3! I'll also do laundry in exchange for beer, donuts, or carbon bike components

Well, laundry got folded with no help from the 3 of you. But if you want the cake, come and get it.

Hmmmmm.....that must be why the basketful of my own laundry is still sitting in my room from Thursday night

Oh thats where you are... I wanted to come say thanks for the Birthday wishes!

Drat!  I need a better hiding spot

JK! Hope you're having a good day

I am not too sure what is the problem with those bottle of wine that I buy

I think you need to buy more bottles. To do a complete, scientific test.

/agree Sounds like a great plan

In fact, while you're doing the test there, I think I'll do the same test HERE. We can compare results....

Any scientific test is best done in triplicate. I will volunteer my services as well

I guess we will have to find a date and then head out to grab as many bottle as possible to make sure the test is accurate :p

It may also be interesting to see what the rate of disappearance is for other alcohols so I may pick up a couple of 40s and bottle of scotch as well

Hm. Other alcohols..... OK. I'll bring some amaretto and sambuca.

WOW talk about lag, it seems like I posted the same message like 20 times :p

That was hilarious. I think it works like an elevator. Continuously pushing the button does not make it go faster.

BT impacts my training.

BT impacts my working

That too.....

Working impacts my training

Same for me

Same here.

Unfortunately, work also supports my training.

Hey, Team! I'm back. We headed to NOLA for the weekend to cheer on the intrepid triathletes doing the 70.3 down there. It didn't work out quite as planned as the venue at the finish was a bit tough on our pup (not much shade, primarily, city streets, so no real place to chill without getting stepped on), so we ended up leaving before most of our friends had finished. We did manage to see the pros finish (Natasha Badmann was beaming) and a lot of the top age groupers. Looked like a good race. Humid day, though, so folks coming from winter parts of the country were struggling. Lots of people in the med tents.

I got a great 50ish mile bike ride in before we left on Saturday, but unfortunately, no runs. Ergh. I run today. I promise not to let you down with this challenge.

Hubby's birthday today. So, it's out to dinner tonight (yay)...after I run. I promise.

Time to go to work. Catch ya' later.

And I was also thinking about comparing a bottle of wine to a box o wine, but I think that may have more to do with quality rather than the packaging

Sorry to hear that the finish wasn't all that accomodating, but glad you were there to cheer people on.  Sounds like a good event.

Good luck with the run today!

I got in a short run in yesterday afternoon. I never run in the heat, it was 84*, plus 80% humidity. It was tough, but after spending several hours in the car driving from Birmingham and minimal running during my week there, I felt I had to get out for a bit. It was a hard run, I felt dog a$$ tired! Today is a swim day, some practice at 11 Am and then a clinic at 5:30.

Right now I am catching up on mountains of correspondence and paperwork! It's weird how that stuff just multiplies when you are not home!?

Cheers!

Good morning PPG&G's.  It's a late night for me at work today, so I'll get my training in this morning.  Felt like a slacker all weekend, but Sat was work for 10 hours, then the airport to meet family.  Sunday was spent on cleaning son's old room to be ready for grandkids next weekend and loads of laundry along with the blueberry cake of which I ate a piece for breakfast this morning.  It has fruit in it, so it counts as a breakfast food.
