If you know your LT, get a couple beats below it and let 'er rip. I dream of the day I can do that again. Have fun Glen. I did have the VO2 test done earlier this year, so feel pretty good about my zones, etc. Thanks to everyone for the great input/advice! Really?! It's one football game (and I won't even whine about the 2 ghost pass interference calls that game them at least one touchdown) When the rest of the TCU athletic programs want to come up north to play, just let us know! I am sure our hockey programs, basketball programs, etc. are looking for an easy game. And the previous post on academics pretty much sums that side of the debate up. "On the admissions front, Wisconsin is a bit more difficult to get into. Wisconsin also has a more impressive six-year graduation rate, a statistic that says a lot about a school's academic successes. Overall, I'd give Wisconsin a slight edge over Texas Christian, but both are excellent universities" I won't even mention that also went to SMU.... Dino |

I haven't run in three weeks, Christmas and all the girls at home got very sick so my training took a back seat. I took advantage of a nice 39F weather with no rain. I believe I finalized my training plan for the next 16 weeks which will take me to week 1 of my 20 week HIM training plan. I build a run focus program using the Custom Training Plan Creator tool. I decided to not taper for the half marathon on May 29 and my first Oly on June 26. Just realized how late it is so I'm going to cut this short and get some sleep. Cheers! |

You'll feel soooooooo good when you're done!! I don't follow college football -- went to a DIII school and lived in the pool. But hubby just informed me that we have Orange Bowl plans with two of his college buds... cuz Stanford is in it (his alma mater). First I'd heard of it, and I'm sending him out on his own cuz it's a school night and everything starts too late for kids who will be a total mess after two weeks of up-too-late-the-sleeping in. While I look forward to resuming my routine tomorow, re-entry can be a beeyatch sometimes... |

If so, I'm getting on my bike, after I double-dose with Day-Quil. If no window, I'll try a trot. My body really wants to move after 3 days of complete inactivity. Taking down decorations today isn't getting my heart rate up, and I can't figure out how to log it. fail. Had to root for the Badgers yesterday, seeing as I've ran through their stadium! Tough loss. However, the SHARKS won last night, and I have high hopes for the Niners and the Cardinal!! Really, though, just biding time until the GIANTS are back. WooHooo.......
