kpb421 - 2008-02-27 8:33 AM Got in a swim last night, so I'm at 85%. Two more swims will put me over 100%, so I'll definitely get there by Friday, and if I can sneak in a third it would be 110%. Great job everybody who's already way over 100%!

Great job so far, and I challenge you for 110%, We all know you can do it. Go Team, you are kicking butt. Be looking for 110% by Saturday evening.

kt65 - 2008-02-27 4:07 PM WTG everyone! I think I officially made 120% This is the first month I've ever been disciplined enough to swim 3x/week and it has made an incredible difference in my endurance. This morning I swam 2 x 400 with the second 400 a little faster than the first. 9:15/ 9:10. Which is currently a PB for both distance (400 without stopping) and time! Thanks to all the rocks for the encouragement and inspiration. I have been working hard but so have all of you! I just learned to freestyle last summer so this is a big achievement. 2 more days to February! Let's do it! Kim

Congrats on your PR's, and great job this month. Don't stop know or this month as the challenge comes to an end. Using swimming has always helped al other sports, and really builds your endurance for everything else. Keep it coming , and few days left for the month.

I DID IT!!!! I actually swam 2400- and 1300 of it was a continous swim, which is a major, major, record for me, considering that my longest continous set before that was a 600! I owe it all to Team Swimming Rocks, not wanting to let the team down (and oh, also the fact that the pool was closing and I needed to go without stopping to maximize swim time ) I still can't believe that I got to 2400 tonight- I've even shocked myself. If I can get a sitter for Friday night and swim myself to 110%, I will do it!!!!!!

Thanks for all the encouragement! SWIMMING ROCKS!

You can do it, go for the 110%. Great job so far, and keep kicking some butt. You are an awesome swimmer. Happy training.

Nice swimming this month Rocks!!

I brought my total up to 17,000 after last night's swim, putting me at 106%.  I'm going to try REALLY hard to get to 110%, but making it to the pool today or tomorrow is going to be a challenge since we're going out of town right after work tomorrow.  Does moving your arms in a "swim like fashion" in the bath tub count??

Only if that was your original plan for swimming this month.  Laps in the bathtub.  Just go to the pool tonight.  LOL

Congrats on your 110%. Team is moving up to 95%, let's keep it rolling really strong members.  GO GO Team, I know you can all do it.

Many really close to 100%, I challenge all the 90 percentiles for 110% by the end of the week. Awesome job, let's pull it off for the team. We have a supper large team, so percentage move a lot smaller.

Great job, and keep it coming. Let's challenge ourselves and see if you can do 120% for this month.

As we called it last month, Let's be part of the 110% club and even better, the 120% club. This will push you to a new higher limit, and thus push yourselves more in the future.

Great job all, keep it coming.

Another 3300 done tonight bringing me to 45,350 (113%) for the month.

The crazy thing is that my total for the year so far is 93,400 which is 51.2 % of what I swam in ALL of 2008 (182,335).

Keep up the good work everyone - 1 more day to go!

All of these huge numbers makes me embarrassed to put mine up. Got in 1250 and that put me at 100% hope to get to 110 tomorrow. As I have beat my previous best month of swimming by 2000m now so I am stoked about that. One day I will talking about 2500m swims I hope.

Great job getting to 100% and for beating your previous best month!  Keep at it and soon even 2500 won't seem like that much!

You are looking at the wrong column, that is the column that does not stop at 110%.  In the correct column (purple/yellow), we are only at 97%.  We need to get a few people into the pool today.

If we reach 100% we win.  There can be multiple winners, we just need to as a team reach the 100%.

As it stands now, I am taking the kids to the pool after work- I won't get in many yards with them, but it will be something. Frankly, I think I should get double yardage for effort as it was 26 DEGREES BELOW ZERO HERE THIS MORNING.

Does that make you wonder why my kids want to go swimming? Cause it makes me wonder a little if they are part polar bear.......Smile

Hey folks - I finished. I officially hate the pool now. Well, not really, but I think I'm not going to want to swim for the next week or so! I see we're still a bit behind. I considered going over the count, but I don't have as much time in the morning. And I have dinner plans tonight after work with a friend.

I did it!! Last night 1250 and this morning another 600 to get me to 110. It wouldn't ahve been so hard but I just couldn't get to the pool. in 4 days I swam 60% of my total. If I could have gotten to the pool more often it would have been a bit easier as now I am sore!! But I made it most I have swam in a month ever by 2600 m my previous best was 3950m this month 6600
