Hey Rocks!

I got 1200 yds in this morning to hit 111% for the month!

Great job everyone!

Great work.  Is a celebratory board down the mountain in order?

Got in 500 last night to get over 100% and going to try to sneak in one more tonight to get to 110%. At the beginning of this month I thought doing 75 yds straight was tough, and last night I did 300, so that was pretty cool.

Great job---just stick with it even though March's challenge has moved on to other sports.  That's a great improvement

Team, I am reporting from a borrowed wireless up here in North Carolina.  I sent Dee a request to officially drop two of our members who have not posted in 2-3 weeks and have not responded to pm's or inspires.

We are now above 100% as a team. Go Team

Another 3300 done tonight bringing me to 45,350 (113%) for the month.

The crazy thing is that my total for the year so far is 93,400 which is 51.2 % of what I swam in ALL of 2008 (182,335).

Keep up the good work everyone - 1 more day to go!

Awesome job my friend. Just don't stop here, and just keep it going for the rest of the year. I know you can do it, and you will feel a difference in your running and biking as you build the endurance for the swimming. Great job, and happy training.

ShawnC13 - 2008-02-28 9:21 PM All of these huge numbers makes me embarrassed to put mine up. Got in 1250 and that put me at 100% hope to get to 110 tomorrow. As I have beat my previous best month of swimming by 2000m now so I am stoked about that. One day I will talking about 2500m swims I hope.

You will. Just keep it going and you will improve steadily. In another few years, you will be doing over 4000 in a workout, and you will wonder how you got there. Oh yeah!! that would be an ironman swim. Great job on getting there. Keep it focus and have fun.

As a co-captain for this team, I would like to congratulate everyone on an excellent team effort for this challenge. Many of you have placed extra yardage, and have exceeded personal achievements on swimming.

Get back later, got to go back to work.

I'd like to thank all of the Rocks -- I'm sorry that I fell short of my goal -- the finger hadn't healed enough to risk going in the pool, so I'm ending at 91% for the month.

However, due to this challenge I have swum more than I have in any other month since joining BT last September.  Thanks for all your encouragement, and see you around!

OK, I did it!  I went to the pool tonight.   Which brings me to nine 30 minute sessions.  Thanks for the encouragement (and the reduced goal).

Good job everyone!

Reminder:

Please make sure you've logged your February training totals on the Google Spreadsheet by midnight tonight (your local time).

I will be compiling the results tomorrow morning, and announcing the FINAL TEAM STANDINGS!

This will determine the winner(s) of the February Challenge.... as well as those who will be displaying the losing Penalty Avatars.

If you have trouble using the Spreadsheet, please let your team captain know.

And remember, the March Biking Challenge starts today! There's still time to sign up, if you haven't done so already.

I am going through logs and the chart and noticed amyro has only 15.75 hours on it but her log says 18hours 10 minutes, do our captains check all of this? Not sure if it will even make a difference

I will be going through everything tonight and updating everyones logs onto the sheet when I get back home from working in the field. So check tomorow on the real numbers if you need too. People have until tonight to log in. Should be home from work around 9:30 pm and will process then.

Great job to all so far, and keep it coming today, last day to swim.
