Man I want to go on Vacation too.  Alaska sounds wonderful have a great time.  Bring me back a polar bear ok.

How can you go on Vacay when  you in Tampa. You live in Vacay just like me

I just want to not have to go to work.  As for Tampa being Vacay I've been to Disney etc..  Busch Gardens is a no go for me since I can no longer ride roller coasters.  And I can only take so much of vapid teenage girls at the beach before I get homicidal.  I would like to go play in the mountains.

No longer can ride roller coasters?  Why not?

Well I can but that evening or the next day I will be walking into walls or simply crawling on the floor to get around.  I have recurrent vertigo that is exacerbated if I ride coasters.  It is very, very, very sad!

I love roller coasters - that is downright TRAGIC!

Oh no, that doesn't sound like fun at all!  I have a coworker who suffered a bout of vertigo a few months ago, and she was pretty incapacitated!  I wouldn't want to put you through that at all!

I am actually considering, at some point, doing the Cedar Point 70.3 or 140.6, just because I LOVE Cedar Point, roller coaster capital of the world.

Well, if you are going to have to world spin for a few days, do it right and go to Cedar Point in Ohio.  It is absolutely wild.  I went there a few years back with a few friends, and any ride I have gone on since has paled in comparison...

Here are a few of the good ones...

Top Thrill Dragster

Millennium Force

Mantis

Wicked Twister

Those are the really good ones  TTD is unreal.  Such a rush.  If I'm not mistaking, Millennium Force was (may still be?) the biggest drop.  It is also wild.

JUST signed up to volunteer for IMAZ!  Why am I almost as excited as if I signed up for the race itself?  (minus the sick feeling of "what have I done").

Maybe because I did it SO I could sign up for 2011...

You need to try Tatsu at 6 Flags Magic Mountan http://www.sixflags.com/magicMountain/rides/Tatsu.aspx
It's insane.  Your basically in a hanggliding position gooing upside down and backwards over some of the loops.  It's one of the last coaster I rode.

Not yet.  1st choice was finish line catcher or hand out T-shirts and hats for the finishers.  I think that would be most inspirational (and I don't have to get up early!)

The third choice was bike handler.  Then I could drool over the machines.

I wanted Women's Changing tent, but I think that would be a hard get!

I had a feelin' yer irontimes weren't over yet.

Yeah, that was crazy talk the week followin IMSG!

BUT, the plan is to do an "EZ" IM   Then retire from the distance.  I want to dedicate a year to it and see how fast I am.

(the ladies already say I'm fast, but that's different!)

Whew - and I'm back for a couple of moments... man, today is gonna be busy!

Peter - I'm going to (hopefully) ride up to Kelowna/Penticton for the BC long weekend, then going to be camping from the 3rd to the 9th, I took the 10th off work too (cuz who the h3ll wants to work the day after coming back from vacation?), so I'm not back at work til the 11th!

Oh, and I just signed up to volunteer for IMAZ too!  Going to visit the parents in November so I figured I might as well do something that I'll enjoy while I'm there
