Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Had a decent training day. 3.5 mile run this morning (32:09) then 2200 in the pool (34:11) and my best time yet for one lap around one of our lakes, 18.6 miles in 55:48, works out to 20mph average. Now if I could just figure out how to move my name on the list but keep the single spacing, for some reason it wants to put me an extra space above Mitch and won't allow my name to go directly next to his. Hopefully someone else can fix that for me? I'll just leave my name where it was.

Also, if there is no way to position cursor in the space, highlight the lines above and below space and see the drop down to the right of B I U ABC, etc. labeled Paragraph...select drop down arrow and choose paragraph - the empty line should dissapear. |

Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Yesterday Kevin and I were both off work, so went for a long(ish) walk with the dog. We also did some new strength training, which has left me quite sore today. Unfortunately none of that counts, so I guess that's rest day 1 used up already. Today I went for a run with the local running club. I know a lot of the members from parkrun and from the tri club, but it's the first time I've actually run with them, so it was kind of fun. - Andy: S 2 / B 1 / R 2 / Rest Days 0 ; Total = 5 ; 03:11'49" |

I'll post stats tomorrow. Brain is too tired to make sense of the charting tonite. The official term for runs at lunchtime (at least in this group) is "runch". Haha.Does that make a swim after work a Swork? So we all know what a birk is then - well at least us Brits do :-) |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() 15 mile run in 2:03:12 - first 13 miles were as at or below MAF. Final two miles were behind two guys probably 20 years younger than me who were holding 7:30s. Felt strong through out.

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I did some intervals on the bike (four) preceded by a warm up. Nice speeds during the intervals, around 27/28mph for 2.5mi and then recoveries for the same distance. 1:21'55", 27.88 miles. Glad to see a lot of people again in the challenge, nice for accountability, huh? Maybe a hint of how competitive we can be... - Andy: S 2 / B 1 / R 2 / Rest Days 0 ; Total = 5 ; 03:11'49" Edited by ernestov 2012-05-02 9:10 PM |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Matthews - 2012-05-02 11:07 PM Gabe, I thought you should be tapering?? You still doubling all our hours. Hola Matthews, according to my plan I start my taper on Sunday, but I have some friends who already started theirs and are already going crazy. Non-tri related: Here is a link I just came across which I thought had some great insights: What They Don't Tell You at Graduation |

Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Enjoy the taper. It's tough when you are use to doing the long hours and also mentally to not keep push as you are worried you loose all the fitness in 2weeks. All the best with it. |

Back was with the wind and ave 22 MPH felt pretty good. Run was slow to keep under MAF did not feel tired after which is what it's all about, right? |
