autumn - 2006-03-06 12:44 PM beautiful! congrats! our girls were both around 21 inches and both about 9 lbs. big babies are happy babies! how is your wife doing?

Thanks so much!!!!! Some back pain, but otherwise she is feeling better. I took the week off work to help her as we also have two girls (neither was over 8 lbs when they were born). Training with small children in the family is a juggling act!!!!!!!!!

Don't I know it.  That is one reason I ride, because it gets one kid out of the house with me.  Take a older child out on the Tandem, then when I REALLY am feeling my oats, I'll load up the bugger too.  Then I can take two kids off my wife's hands, or out of her hair.

She ends up with one or two less.  Can give them something to do and maybe get a nap.

Ok, not to be nit-picky, but I thought this was the MARCH challenge, not the February Challenge.   So what is with the February dates on the Excel file?  Are we time traveling now?

hate to say this, but I'm gonna be sandbagging big time on this challenge.  Didn't anticipate the nice weather for some outside riding.... so that's going to be tacked onto my 9 hours that I have to put in on the trainer.  OOOPs

I know. I am soooooo looking forward to getting outside on the bike later this week. They are predicting temperatures in the 60s! I had forgotten how much I hated the trainer before I got on it tonight. Ugh!

Hey it was great this weekend, even if a little cold here in Ohio.  I think when we were riding it was mid 30's, but very sunny and bright.  Son was telling me his feet were cold, once we got there, not before just once we got there.

Well, we're waiting for the warm air here in MN!  I was all excited when I heard 40 degrees today - until it rained!  Oh well...I may be one of the oddballs who actually likes the trainer... not more than riding outside, of course, but I don't mind it a bit.  Maybe it's just 'cause I love my bike!

Now, on to creating my very first log!  I have more than 30 miles to contribute!

Autumn...awesome!  Keep inspiring us...I know I need to hit the bike today, and with 40+ weather, it's almost time to get outside (at least for me, the cold wimp)

So, those of you who live west of me, ride with the wind at your back and you can stop in at my house! (Going back home will be an issue!) Are any of you missing any lawn ornaments from your backyard? They're probably over here in Ohio. Geez! Can you believe this wind!?!

Have a good weekend and "ride like the wind" (ha!)

I'm missing 3 pink flamingos.  Seen them?

Well here's a plan for you.  Call up a friend east of where you live, arrange to have them give you a ride home after your easterly run/bike.  Have a good workout this weekend...

Should have 45 min to an hour added to my time. First outdoor ride of the year for me in about 10 minutes!

Sounds good, lets see, a century a day, I should see you in 10 days to 2 weeks. (And I would obliterate my March cycling target )

Heck you could make it faster, just make it a double century a day, and then you could make it in half the time.

I could ride up to see her, only take me a couple of hours.  Well more like about 8-10, depending on where in Ohio she is, and how fast the wind is blowing.

Here are our team stats for week-2 (pulled from your logs between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on Sunday) .  Same deal as last week, the first percentage is how much of your goal that you have complete.   The last percentage is the percent that you have done divided by the percent of the month that is complete--if you are around 100%, you are on pace to meet your goal.  Will be posting the official spreadsheet in the other thread a little later.  Special kudos to Scott (jcjsc00), who upped his goal and is still on pace.  Great week everybody.
