Hmmm....I guess by comparison I'm not too gross. I do have strange habits, though. Or maybe my cats do. Or I strangely let them have these habits. One of my cats drinks only from a leaking tap
(I have to "set" it for him to drip.
) The other drinks only from a large plastic dishpan. Another drank only from the toilet. They stretch with me after I run
(one of them does a perfect "streamline" and even crosses his front and back legs
), and they sometimes lick sweat off me
(I guess for the salt
). No apparent interest in earwax, though. They also like to get in the kitchen cabinets
(no doors
) and I play peekaboo with one while he hides behind the microwave. The other day he managed to get into the freezer when I opened it up.
As for gross, mine aren't really habits, just allergy-related. I spit when I run and bike, as well as do the occasional farmer's blow, especially when I race. If you're going to pass, you need to do it quickly, or you might be in the line of fire. I'm allergic to grass
(when it's cut
), and pretty much anything that flowers, which can happen year-round in the tropics, it's all going into my respiratory system at high speed when racing, and it feels good to get it out. Always afraid I'll be fined or DQ'd for it in Singapore events, but I still do it sometimes. And my nose runs in the pool. I can't help it. Again, it's allergy-related, and worse in cold water. You can't really reach for a hanky in the middle of the pool. Sorry, fellow swimmers! At least I don't pee in the pool like some people.
