Damn, STILL behind, and yesterday's non-ride didn't help any. Gonna try and get 50 - 60 in today, and another 20/60 weekend. That will make next week's load a much more manageable number.

Same here... I need to get in 40-50 today, 60-70 tomorrow and another 40 Sunday (although it seems it will be raining) then I should be good to meet my goal. If not, lots of miles next week! Also I am on target to meet my goals for running and swimming representing my highest volume month ever (not that you guys care)

I'm still behind, not only on the bike but in my other goals for the month.  The good news is that it looks like it's not going to rain this weekend.  Lots and lots for hours to go.

Too much riding, not thinking straight.  Found the error, it was in my blog not in my spreadsheet.  4/18 rode 3:52 but only recorded 2:52.  Fixed the problem, back to 6 minutes ahead.

I need to stop riding up mountains. Maybe then I can get more distance in!

Thanks for the challenge bear. This final week is going to be a killer. I might have to log some miles on the rollers this week.

Lost a 30-miler to the rain yesterday, now my other commitments kick in. Working the next five evenings with my Rotary Club at a local festival, will be hard to get a ride in. May bring my bike Friday to sneak a brick workout in, will definitely get a 70-miler in Saturday morning. Plenty of time for y'all to pass me, at most I'll end up with 740.

Pounding the trainer the last few nights (and will have to tonight as well), so I'll pass 600 with tonight's ride.

Gonna try to get outside tomorrow and Friday for at least 20 each day, which means this weekend I'll only have in the 60-ish range to finish off the goal.

And I planned to go out with style and ride a solo century training ride on Saturday to smash the goal.

You're welcome! I'm thinking about making it a monthly thing, maybe scale it back to 500 miles to make it accessible to more BTers. What do you guys think?

p.s., I'm already at 118 miles running for the month, my 14-miler Sunday will push me over 130. What's more, it's taken me twice as long to do my running as you.

Uh, swimming, uh, I'll start on Monday. Yeah, that's it, Monday!

I was extremely motivated to make it (still am) but I know that if I tried to do something like this every month that I'd be either sleeping on the couch or meeting with a lawyer. Not to mention I'm only 6 weeks from the "big race."

Next week is going to be a lazy week with recovering from this month and having a mini-taper for my 10k next Sunday.

Yeah, it's not going to be for everyone, every month, but it may entice, encourage others to occasionally pick up their volume in months where their training allows it.

Bike: 36h 2m 07s - 705.53 Mi

Works out to a 19.53 mph avg. ........ not quite up to my old standards, but with the weather and the rolling hills around here, I'll take it!

I AM DONE! Best training month ever and hopefully a great base for FL 70.3 on 21 days. I am not sure how much riding I'll be doing this month due to racing and all but I’ll be shooting to log on 450-500 mile range. Again, thank you very much Bear for throwing this challenge and making me push hard. (Even though I didn't calculate well my last long run and missed my running target by .23 miles, HA!

April's totals:

Bike: 40h 44m 47s - 701.77 Mi
Run: 11h 21m 30s - 79.77 Mi
Swim: 9h 48m - 32750 Yd

Avg weekly hrs -> 14:26        GOOD JOB EVEYONE!
