Hi,

I'd like to try a challenge.  I'm in Southern California and here are my goals for the month of May:

Swim: 3 hours

Bike:  7.5 hours

Run:  7.5 hours

I'm still a newbie and I'll be out of town for 5 days over Mother's Day weekend so my goals aren't real high.  I hope that's OK.  How do I report my workouts?  Do I just post them in the training log?  I started using that earlier this month.

Thanks.

Lisa

Figuring out the math for this one was difficult and I'm pretty certain I didn't factor in all of my bricks while coming up with totals.  You can always raise the bar, right ;-)

I have:

Swim 20k yards

bike 15 hours

run 10 hours

After consulting with a good friend, I would like to change my goals for May to focus more on swimming and biking and less on running.  My next big race is in August, so I have time to focus on something besides the run:

swim - 10,000 yards

bike - 5 hours

run - 80 miles

This month all team groupings will be regional. You'll likely end up with the Western US group.

Can the elipitical count for running, or does it have to be foot to the pavement?

Quick question on multi-sport workouts: can it be any type of brick (run to bike, swim to bike, etc) to get the bonus or just bike to run?

Or run to swim... I just started doing that, nice way to cool off!

swim 500 in under 10mins

bike 20 miles at 20mph

run 6 miles under 46minutes

do these goals count...most people just put distance goals.

i'm in colorado/north denver (commerce city)/ u.s.

Questions Answered:

ilucy2: yes, you can count the elliptical towards your running goal

Artemis: re: mutlisport bonuses: it is my understanding that any multisport combo done as a brick (let's say within 10 minutes) counts for a bonus

lyric4christ: we really need either a distance or a time goal

All: I should be setting up the team rosters later today, and hopefully I'll get the spreadsheets done up by tomorrow.

There's still room for more. We can especially use international BTers!
