I love TdF pics, so colourful.  Here's another one -

Hi everyone! Sorry to be so late checking in. I was camping in the backcountry of Glacier National Park over the weekend and then traveled to Grand Coulee, WA yesterday. Now I'm settled in for awhile and ready to get back to training Plan to do my first stage tonight.

My intro:

I'm married with two adult daughters, and I travel around the Northwest with my husband (gslye) for his job. We just bought a motorhome, so no more hotels YAY! This is my second year training for triathlons, and I'm loving it. Also love the challenges! I don't know much about the TDF, but am learning alot from everyone here THANKS!

Welcome aboard Roni.  I don't follow TdF much in prior years.  This is my first BT challenge and first time I got TV channel (OLN) with TdF coverage, so I'm learning a lot too.  I thought in the beginning Team Columbia is associated with that country (drugs, etc...), but turns out Columbia is the Columbia sportswear co, and it's one of 2 US teams... lol...

Ok, I am in OLN withdraw.  I have no Tour Coverage   it's not even on the nightly news in vancouver... so sad.  Anyone know of any web streaming? I feel so out of the loop.  But I'm glad to see Columbia is maintaining a presence.

Good job, Rob.

July 8 - STAGE 4 - In another good day for Team Columbia Kim Kirchen put in an excellent performance in the Individual Time Trial to place second and retain the green Points Jersey, whilst teammate Thomas Lövkvist had the ride of his life to finish with the white Young Riders jersey.

Hincapie came in 9th in a new bike.

It was a good day for team Columbia with 3 in the top ten riders. Watched it last night on TV. Those guys really fly. 50+ miles per hour. they were saying that these guys ride at between 300 and 400 watts on these time trials. I was watching mine this morning on my ride and I was around 200 average. The best I reached to was 350 on one very steep hill ride and then only for a very short time.

I think with the great race coverage we are getting from Patricia that she should be named our official "Inspirational Leader" for the team.

Let's go team!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've so many hrs of taped coverage I'm still watching Stage 1.  300-400 watts avg, eh?  I avg just >100 when I do intervals!  Guess that explains why they're riding in the TdF and I'm riding in the basement!

I always see riders on different teams chat with each other while riding on the TdF.  Always wonder what they talk about.    Now I know.

Redknight - 2008-07-09 2:28 PM Hey artemis That burrito looks like something that fell out of an ox nose. Pretty disgusting looking from your picture. If that's what your team is chowing down on no wonder you'll only see our backsides on this challenge.

Exactly, Team Garmin-Chipotle, because our Team Columbia is chowing down on haute  cuisine -
