Please send one case of Merlot, 2 cases Savignon and 3 cases of Pinot to Geez C/O Garmin IT, Olathe, KS.  Should keep me and the lads from dehydrating.....

enders_shadow - 2008-07-08 7:49 AM Hey, teamies! Leaving on vacation tomorrow...will be mostly off-line (and off-bike) until next Tuesday. I'll have a glass of wine for each of you. Ride well!

Well, OK - since you asked for the right ones...I'm a red fiend. (Although I'll drink white in a pinch or if it's too hot. Never pink. )

No Chipotle's here either. I think there's one in St Louis, wonder if there's one in Memphis...

Nope none in Memphis. But I may have to stop at the one in Kirkwood, MO at the end of the month after the triathlon there to celebrate the completion of the TdF challenge and the finishing of the triathlon.

Got my yellow shirt on today in celebration of  the lads capturing the Team GC standings on Monday Cool.  Burritos on the house today!!!

With the boys only doing an 18 mile time trial today the Geez should be able to easily catch up on total miles after tonite.  I hope my yellow jersey is clean!!

I now have 3 of my 10 stages complete for a total of 42.5 miles out of 170. I'm well on my way! Watching the TdF is pretty fun. I am amazed that they can go THAT fast for THAT long!

We are pretty quiet.  Here's a question for everyone:

What's your favorite Chipotle burrito?  (Or other burrito if you don't have a Chipotle)

I like a regular burrito or burrito bowl with black beans, chicken, mild salsa, and a little cheese.

Mmm...chimichangas are delicious.  This team's going to make me keep craving Mexican food.

Hey artemis

That burrito looks like something that fell out of an ox nose. Pretty disgusting looking from your picture. If that's what your team is chowing down on no wonder you'll only see our backsides on this challenge.

Exactly, Team Garmin-Chipotle, because our Team Columbia is chowing down on haute cuisine -

Thanks for the offer but no burritos for Team Agritubel.

We need to stay slim and trim for our time in the TdF spotlight.

I really don't know because I don't eat at Chipotle all that much (although I'm very tempted to do so soon because of all this burrito talk!). I think that past few times I had been there I got some sort of veggie fajita. I just love all the other stuff that goes on it, like cheese, sour cream, guacamole.

You've all been working hard. Why not take the day off and have a delicious burrito?

burrito

Jen Thanks! I really needed that burrito today after my second stage and then a swim I was very hungry! I wish I could actually get a burrito that looked like that around here.

A day off. You guys deserve so much more. Go ahead and park the bikes, open a nice bottle of wine and enjoy. You can start riding again in a few short weeks.

Stage 5: 57.54 miles bringing the total to 393 + miles.  The lads are spreading me after their 200k + ride today; but the Geez will get it back on the weekend.

Rode after dark tonight and the bugs were out in force; had to floss the little buggers out of my teeth when I got home and wash out the taste with a glass of fine Blackstone Merlot.

According to the Geez's sharp analytical perusal of all the spreadsheets we appear to be outfront wearing yellow with an average of 21% completion.  Every other team is just talking instead of riding.  Let's do a breakout and put this thing away over the weekend: no smiles without the miles.

Last I checked team Saunier Duval was at 34% completion...

thanks for the nice yellow jerseyLaughing please make sure you wash it first, also after eating all those burrito's you seem to have stretched it out a bit.

Looks like you got one of your riders DQed or DNS; never entered a goal. So are you counting 0 goals reached for 0 goals achieved as 100 % achieved or as 0 % achieved.  Garminites know know how to make goals and make them.....

BTW... SD's goals look kind of paltry; if you petition Kat I am sure she could change them!! Wink
