I actually had a "Mac Genius" think I was running with my laptop. I took it in for repair, and mentioned I listen to it while I run. He got this horrified look on his face, and asked "like in a backpack?" No, on a table by the treadmill, duh!

Hm.....am I not the only one who's tried running with a laptop and aircard?  Surprised

I ran today for the first time in two months! Woo-hoo! or is that awooOOOhooOOooowl ...

I'm back.

For the purposes of this challenge I'm counting all walking as well, since I'm coming off a nasty illness and wasn't sure how it would all pan out. So I've got that run, plus some walking, in for the team this week.

Yay first run for the moth 8.27 miles. This was my first workout since my HIM last weekend where I didn't feel that hanging fatigue partially through the workout. My usual pace for that distance is like 10 min mile, today 9:06. I am liking the cooler temperatures, even if there was a strong wind. I should be back up to speed for next week. Swim on Friday was brrr air 45F, water 55F, wind 15 mph rain... took an hour to un numb my feet. Oh well off to icebath those legs brr again.

Good job everyone who ran today, way to get the miles out. I took the day off, well not really off, spent 1hour shopping for wood, 3 hours digging 2 post holes and pouring concrete, and 5 hours building a gate. Running tommorow.

Cat's been super-swamped at work, so I imagine the spreadsheets are not up yet. (Usually we have a link where we can sign in to our team Google spreadsheet. Very easy to use). I didn't see anything about it in the main challenge thread, so I figure just keep making sure you have your BT log up to date and the spreadsheets will come when she's able to.

In other news, had a good run this afternoon, looking forward to this week and a longer run next weekend.

Hi Puppies!

Good News! You finally have a team spreadsheet (well the beginning of one). Its located here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-B4fqg79uqeJg&hl=en

To access the spreadsheet for editing you need to login in as:

Username: BTChallenge

PWD: Challengeforum

I still have a bit of work to do on the sheet but please check I have your goals entered correctly and I hope to have tidied up the formulas etc shortly.

Thanks
Cat

K so last week's only run felt pretty good and I usualy run around 10 min mile in practice for runs over 6 miles. Last week I did an 8 mile run in like 9 min / mile and I was stoked. So today I go out on a short 1 hour run and decide to just hit it hard and see if I can hold the pace. I end up with 7.31 miles in 1 hour like a 8:14 min mile. Wow. I guess you can get faster by just plodding and getting that base built up. Of course the temp is below 80 so that may help and well with the temp down I don't have to cary any water, but still thats like nearly 2 min off my pace on the same run 2 weeks ago. There is hope. But man ya got to be patient.
