Subject: RE: Chicago Marathon : Official Threadbeadams - 2009-10-11 6:44 PM Who ever had the "HTFU" sign I saw you at mile 25ish? THANKS. As did I. I tried to say something to him, but he didnt get it. Anyway, as some of you know from stated earlier in this thread. I had a patellar dislocation Aug. 14th. I have only run twice since then, 3 miles each time and had to stop because of pain. I paid too much to just not attempt running my first chicago. Long story short...I finished the marathon in 4:04 with a knee that is at 70% and no distance run over 10 miles since first week of August. and strangely enough it really wasnt my knee that hurt today, more so my feet from not used to running Edited by Decatur217 2009-10-11 9:12 PM
