Subject: RE: Revolution3 HIM Middlebury, Connecticut: Official ThreadI did the race last year and the bike is hilly but not too outragous. Nothing too steep, but alot of rollers and a couple long climbs particularly the one around mile 26. The run had some good hills on it too, including the K-Swiss mile (an uphill mile at about mile 4 on a dirt trail, but it was shaded ). The had a timing mat at the bottom and top and gave prizes for the fastest split. The modified the run so you go all the way around the lake instead of having to head back down the K-Swiss mile so I haven't run the new segment.
I can't compare it to the Harriman but for anyone who did the Black Bear HIM that bike course was alot harder than Quazzy. Quazzy is a good challenge but it was fair and well run and supported last year. See you all in a few days. |
