Good eyes there! Macca! It was New Years Day and I was watching the Ironman marathon on Universal Sports and spinervals on the other computer right in front.

NorthernNewbie - 2010-01-15 1:35 PM Here is mine.

Trainer, stationary bike, Versa Climber, Treadmill, Eliptical, Pull Up/Dip, Dumb Bell 5 - 80, High Pully low pully squat rack, incline decline bench, abduction/aduction machine, and exercise pool.

You are all welcome to come by when you are in Northern Michigan.

Oh, and my wife's kick boxing thingy that doubles as a table while I ride.  Paint bucket & milk crate for Plyometrics.

Lot's of great setups. This is the one I'm most jealous of so far. Could be because I haven't been swimming in months.

OK, here it goes.  I tried to get a good picture of the bike and the movie playing on the front wall from the projector that is mounted on the ceiling to the right of the doorway from where the picture was taken.  The darker picture you can see part of the screen, because there is some lighter picture color on the screen.  That is my double bass that you see and it is about 6' tall to give you an idea of the area.

I threw together a 2x4 rack holds the rollers on the wall to the left and then I roll up the extra piece of carpet that catches all of my sweat.

The pictures are not great, so it really doesn't show you much.

I could get some serious motivation (or daydreaming) going by looking at that while I was training...nice set up!

My wife & I use the room. Plus I am rehabbing my right knee after getting it scoped on the 30th Dec.  I figure another 4 weeks my bike will be back in the garage and ready to roll.  If I tried to go outside right now I would hear more than whispering in my ear to quit running.

Plus its nice to have a place to work when it raining.   I like to do the elliptical and rowing machine.

I do have a sound system and TV in the room but did not show a picture of that.

Kevin

Mine is a work in progress:

Computrainer (and fluid Kurt Kinetic for visits), TV screen/surround sound/DVD, mat for stretching, roller foam, some dumbbells, video camera connected to TV and mirrors for bike fitting. Still to come: treadmill and software for motion capture for bike fits.

Ok  at least i did not post a picture with bikini clad water skiers on the river.  Last year I never did a training swim in the Wando because I was just trying to learn to swim.  This year will see me swimming out there a good bit in preperation for  the Charleston Harbor OWS  5 June.

Aquagirl -  I would definitely take the upper location.  I don't like cold that well and I hate roads like that with 23c tires.   I am not even that fond of those roads with mountain bike tires.

The time goes quickly watching the big screen. I've got a Eurosport home gym to the right of the bikes.

I would like to be outside, but our roads are not safe to ride on and you don't know when you are going to hit a spot of black ice.  I don't need to fall while on my bike because of the bad roads.  I will ride my rollers during most of December and January because of the crappy roads and then get back out there again once the roads are worth riding on safely.

Funny One there little brother.

Any thoughts on a Charleston race yet?  We need to try to do 2 or 3 race together this year.

Mine is in my unheated detached garage and no that is not a fan in the background, it's a HEATER, and yes, I use it, lots. It gets cold here. It helps if the car is still warm, it heats the garage (a few degrees anyway, but anything to keep my toes from going numb.)And all the tools, they are a constant reminder of all the other things I could be doing or fixing after my bike ride, that I just never get around to. This works to keep me riding longer.
