disturbed275 - 2010-04-02 7:23 AM Soooo, what's everyone have planned today?

Bike commute for me, 10 miles each way. The ride in was pretty nice. Traffic was light.

I got a swim in this AM! Only took me 15 minutes of sitting on the side of the pool to get in!

ebshot - 2010-04-01 12:27 PM It is so beautiful outside!  The sun is shining and it is in the high 50s.  I donned my running gear (shorts and short sleeves!) and headed out.  Yeah, I made in one minute and turned around.  I did the injury walk of shame home.  It's official.  I can't run. And I LOVE to run.  I even tried changing my shoes and trying again.  Nope.  I guess it is time to make a doctor appointment.   Cry

Awww Erica sorry that you're injured Frown  Hopefully it's nothing too serious and you'll be back running again with a little rest. . . I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Cute boy, by the way!

X2  ..  great shot of your son!   Hope you get the injury mended up soon

It is pouring down rain here.  Frown

I am leaving this afternoon to go 3 hours south for my first tri tomorrow.  The swim is in a pool; bike and run outside.  Hopefully it will only be showers of rain instead of the current buckets.

I am having to adjust my training plan because of activities this month, but I will get my goals up soon.

Hi Team B!  (we'll need to come up with a name).

My knee survived March.  Time to ramp up for April.  It will be a busy spring for work and travel.  I won't have a race until May!

Wasn't chatty in March.  Hope to change that a little in April.

Quick Zone 2 spin this morning.  Posted goals in the spreadsheet.  Good luck all!

1 ST session done for me!

The weather is beautiful here today, and supposed to be better tomorrow.  Going on my first outdoor bike ride of the season with a friend who's going to show me some good training routes.

Oh, and today was Ice Out!  That means that the lake melted and the buoy with the sensor fell in, recording the exact time it hit the water.  Now whoever picked the block of time during which the ice out happened wins a bunch of money.  Yup, they gamble on the ice melting here.

If it stays warm I might be swimming soon.  Hmmm...where did I put my wetsuit?

Had a pleasant run after work.  Some houses are still pumping water out of their basements.  What a mess. We have been dry for almost 24hrs.... Woo Hoo!!

Hey Team B....second session finished this evening.  It was a beautiful day out today and the 1st one this week where we didn't have 30 mph wind.  Did a 3.5 mile run after work.

I got a little aggressive on my run goal.  I have a half-marathon I am training for - the Illinois Marathon on May 1, so I better keep at it.
