Zane...  I of course agree with everyone.  Moron.

BUT, this thought occured to me...  He really DID want to go.  Couldn't hack it.  But wanted to save face and say it was strategy.  He didn't want to come accross to all his homeboys back in the states that he was an out of shape wimp...

I'm going to keep my eye on the investment banker for several reasons.

I see the point of getting into alliances early, but I think for the first few days, at least before the first vote, just be a middle of the pack guy.  Don't be a leader and don't be a slacker.  Just play it cool and give no one a reason to vote you off.  Then be a little more selective.  Seems like the FIRST WORDS people say is "want to be in an alliance?" and they say "we get along SO well!  Like best friends or sisters!  I think I can REALLY trust them!"...  Really?  why not give it 24 hours?

More than possible. I mean I would like to think I would try to stick it out even if I had a rude awakening first day... but ya it cracked me up when he told dude to pull him.... REALLY???  I get "gassed", but that was funny.

The real personalities definitely start to come out on the second episode!  People can do anything for 3 days...but it's the days AFTER that where it starts to wear on them...and it shows.

It could be the edit, but Roxy was definitely ticking me off...she was being awfully bratty.  When I'm in a survival situation I'll cuddle up with whomever is warm...I'm surprised they were not all cuddled up in a boy/girl/boy/girl line to stay warm.  Seriously.  That's f'ing survival 101!

Shame the blue team missed that challenge by such a short amount of time...looks like they only had one or two pieces left.

Did anyone else notice that when they walked back to camp after the challenge the screen text said something like "Tribe name, Tribe 1 Day 6.  I can't remember how to spell the tribe name.  Why "Tribe 1"?  maybe the blue tribe is one of the two once they shuffle?  Hmmm...interesting.

I am interested to see how Penner explains why the top to the rice bin is missing...that is a distinctive ornate decoration...that suddenly disappears????  If the hairdresser doesn't start to suspect Penner she's an idiot...

Abi-Maria seems to be another loose cannon...even if she had a good point to tell RC if you want to keep your friend you need to say it more nicely!

I didn't get to see the previews for next week...I think a storm warning overwrote them.  Anyone know what Roxy said in her exit interview?

Dumb move not splitting up Angie and Malcolm.

And second why is he so manic? Irritating.

Honestly, either Roxy or Jami(?) could have gone. They are both pathetic. "Cookies"... WTF??? What kind of answer is that? Way to play stereotypical beauty queen.

And don't get me started about the "cuddling"... that isn't for warmth. And all the "rubbing" was driving me crazy... that's not survival either. It just makes me mad...  I mean, if it is part of a play that is cool, but boy/girl stuff usually just happens and it's a game. You work for months to put together your pitch and here you are actually in a game for a million dollars and an adventure of a life time and you want "cuddle". Please.

I still like Malcom, but he needs to send control back to the big head.

And ya, Abi-Mari... not that a I disagree... but way to make friends/allies. Nice social skills.

And Blair... isn't it weird how Survivor usually inspires a mental breakdown by someone after about 3 days?

Ya, Russel is certainly irritating. When he played before, he was with other egotistical people, but him by himself, he really stands out and gets on my nerves.

Ok wow how crazy was Abi-Maria with the jealousy? I mean really that was just freaky and I feel sorry for any boyfriend she has IRL.

I agree.  I didn't like Russel before and  I don't like him now.  Something about the guy just rubs me the wrong way. 

Honestly I don't see a problem with the cuddling for warmth.  If others don't want to then don't.  It can be seen as a couple but couples haven't been a big deal in this game since Rob and Amber.  That tribe is imploding and won't last long.  It looked as though the "pizza" therapist was screwed either way as far as a couple if she were the swing vote but it turned out not to be a big deal.  Roxy got kind of crazy at the end and I think that did here in besides her lack of help around camp.  At this stage people are cut for being weak (both in challenges at camp) or for being irritating. 

I think her public display of praying rubbed some the wrong way.  What is her denomination anyway?  It seemed Christian then it was almost some crazy language and then hebrew? 

Cuddling IS for warmth.  I've been through survival training.  It's f'ing freezing and we had real clothes!  The ONLY warm night I had in all of the training was the night I slept squished between two boys.  BEST. NIGHT. EVER.  And I call tell you I wasn't interested in ANYTHING else.  But for heterosexual types it's just more comfortable to huddle for warm with the opposite gender...that's just human nature.  In previous seasons we've seen the entire tribe all huddled up together in the shelter.  Smaller tribes, less room for one big dog pile so a few people choose to huddle together.  I'd do it and it wouldn't be to try to "get some".

I agree that the cookies statement was a bit clueless...if you really wanted food you could say, I would change our ability to acquire food so that we could be stronger for challenges.  You essentially said the same thing as cookies but it doesn't sound as dumb.  She also might have been just trying to keep it light hearted and deflect having to make a direct answer like "I would want this person gone".  Part of tribal is very political...it's about giving an answer without giving an answer and without making anybody mad or targeting anyway (unless you really want to go down that road).  I doubt she thought it would take so much scorn.  It worked for her though...Probst made fun of her but who left?  Roxy who was antagonistic at tribal...

I wonder what the sex therapist does for working out?  She is freaking RIPPED...  Maybe even too much so.  I like the body, but when you have that low a body fat, it starts to make the face a little hard/rough - maybe that and too much sun?

The "cuddling" or "huddling for warmth" I don't take issue with, but the associated stroking was unnecessary and I don't blame Roxy for noticing it.     Seriously Jen, in the situation in camp you described, what would you have done if one of the guys you were sandwiched with started stroking your back or thigh?  That changes things.

Lisa...  I thought for a sec she would snap out of it, when she went back to sit under the shelter.  I think the challenge win really helped, though.  She will need a few more days of not voting to dig herself out of that hole.

I would personally be very happy to be aligned with RC, I think Abi-Marie really blew it.  What a head case.   I assume paranoia is a given when you're on Survivor, it's too early to let it get to you like that.

I thought it was hysterical when Penner was maniacally searching for the idol and got busted, covered in sand and looking pretty crazy.   He has zero talent with acting casual.

I wouldn't even realize there is the Kalabaw (red) tribe if Katie wasn't on it and I keep waiting to see her

I am also not sure I want to enter Survivor with that low of body fat.  I'd like something to burn!

I think that's the negative with 3 tribes.  Not enough time to cover all three...

Everyone must feel the same about last night's episode.  Not much to talk about.  Pretty boring episode, all things considered.

Notice how the experienced Penner (this is his third round) came on with extra body fat.  Most returning players know that some body fat will definitely help sustain you.  Too much and you could have health problems or be too unfit for the challenges, but an extra 10 or 20 pounds to lose during the 6 weeks is a definite plus.

No, I totally get for warmth. And ya, they have done it on the show, and yes guys and girls can do it platonically.... what I'm saying is that was not platonically... when you cuddled with the boys did they constantly stroke and rub you too? I'm thinking not. Or even say hey... Am I the only one freezing... if we all lie together we will stay warmer... but when hot chick cuddles up with hot dude....

And just like Jeff said.. He said it better than I was thinking... when they were called out by it, Jeff asked girl.. don't you get it... there is suspicion. So the cuddling in the shelter is one thing... but then hanging out all day with each other... like the cameras showed (edited) then that can make it worse. So truth or no truth, there is suspicion and they did nothing to try to quiet that.... bad game play if nothing else.

I agree with you it is possible "cookies" could have been a deflection. Sort of struck me that way when she said it... but then she just left it hanging out there... I mean it is council and obviously some one is going home and you are puzzling people... but when Russel voted Roxy... I wondered if they knew they were all voting her before council and another crafted edit kept us guessing.

But it is like that with two tribes too... ya the tribes get covered, but lots of players left out not covered while they focus on a few. I just like the change up. Not sure if 3 is better or not, we just know a change up will happen sooner and I'm good with changups. You know they are going to shuffle at least once... a merge would would be bad...meaning put the loosing tribe in with the other two... they would not stand a chance. So they are going to have to shuffle, then there will come down to two, then there will be a merge. So I'm cool with greater possibilities for flips.

So... Denise is a sex therapist... I just thought she was a therapist. Her hobbies are Sprint Tris.

And RC, the investment banker, is a competitive swimmer and runner.....I’m an athlete and have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 5. I hold a Masters All-American title, earned 12 top 10 national master’s records in the last four years, held numerous college and high school records. I ran a half Boston marathon without training and swam the English Channel.

And Carter is a track coach and collegiate runner for 4 years.

Where are the cyclists?

Where have you been?  Denise and RC were covered on page 1!!!! :D

I even commented that I couldn't find RC on the list of successful English Channel swimmers...wonder if she did a relay?

Part of this is that they focus on the tribe going to tribal...which has been the same tribe two weeks in a row.  If it had been two different tribes we would have seen much more of at least one of the other tribes....
