Grandkids are great, but I hear they wear you out (right Kendra).

Now that I think about it, there were a few cats there when I visited, but the doggie took the center stage for remembrance.  LOL

Good day gang.  I need to remember to hop on BT when I first get to work.  I might actually find a couple of you here at that time.  

TOM!!! - It is so good to see you back.  Need to find out where you are.  I used to live in the SF bay area, and I hear you are up in that direction.

Today I am planning on getting a bike session in, and if lucky a run/walk.  

Tomorrow I'll fit in something between packing for the 2-Day.  That is this weekend, so Fri/Sat and Sun will be spent on the motorcycles.  I should have put that down on my goal for the challenge, LOL.

I'm going to take a short walk on campus right now.  If I get in a mile, I'll log it.

RAWR! I say rawr!!!

It's good to be back in the village a bit. Someone tell Tom I've missed him. and then tell yourselves the same thing! I'm feeling better about life in general right now. I got a little walk in yesterday, visited with some friends, got some annual skills updates done at work, actually got to talk to the hubby on Facetime for a while this morning, and I fed my kids a hot meal for dinner, got The Boy to get some of his make-up schoolwork done, and The Girl is catching up on her work as well. AND I climbed up on a ladder and changed out the battery on the smoke alarm on the vaulted ceiling (did I mention it also happens to be over the stairwell?). Yep. Feeling pretty good. Tomorrow is pedicure with the wife of hubby's business partner, then hopefully a short run.

Hi Amy! All of that sounds great. I am especially proud of the ladder over the stairwell thing.

I'm in the office today but I'm regretting that decision. Instead of sitting in my desk chair I'm sitting on a wood box that I usually use to prop my feet up on under my desk.

Um... you're 6'3" we are all short people to you, where's our tending?

Dee, all quiet on the western front?

It's a kids group at church called AWANA.  It is nationwide and non-denominational.  She is really enjoying it.  At the pre-school level they do crafts and coloring activities.  Story time with puppets and a Bible story and songs.  Then games and snacks.  They really keep them moving.  She has a workbook for home that has stories and simple Bible verses to learn.  The kids get stickers in the book for activities completed.  As they complete different units, they earn patches to go on their vest.  She is really getting a kick out of it.  Except for "red light, green light" game.  She is not really getting the hang of it except to realize that she is not winning!  LOL

Yes, we are familiar with AWANA, both my kiddos have done it. The one here that the rest of the family kiddos goes to is on Thursday nights, that's when Keri has soccer practice right now. If she doesn't have basketball practice on Thursday nights she'll go this winter.

Couldn't sit in my chair. I lasted 4 hours and I came home. Spent the rest of the day on my heat pad. This is getting old.
