And the Griffins continue to stack on the miles ....... after this weekend I'll be at close to 40% of my run mileage ...... 79 miles and it's only going to be the 10th .... the rest of you slowpokes can't hope to keep up with the flying beasts!! |

Expert 1092 Earth | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... ott13979 - 2006-09-09 8:38 AM I'm torn...... my smack talking competitive ways are being superseded by my desire for each person in this challenge to make his/her goals..... but.... on the other hand..... In the end the Pickles will reign supreme over the rest of the field… I’m sure the rest of you will come very very very close to making your goals, lose a bunch of weight, twist your ankles, lower your bad cholesterol, fall off you bike, hone your training regimen, make new BT friends, buy a hound dog from a guy in Kansas City, develop a love for biking or running, etc… all good things… but in the end you will cave to the pressure that the Pickles will apply… Give up now and you will not be losers... you will be a quitters… Trust me… I’ve learned by watching my friends it’s much better to quit then lose… why???... the stories baby, the stories… you can tell your great great grandchildren stuff like “we could of won that challenge” but we know better right? Go Pickles p.s. Bananna Slugs I would impeach your leader and find a test monkey to fill his shoes Why should we even listen to someone that can't even find the right thread to post their trash talk in? It is painfully obvious that you are or have been pickled, that you are completely not rational. You have been eating the dust of the banana slugs and it has effected your brain. Don't worry the results will soon past, since you will be so far behind the banana slugs that the air will once again clear, and you will be able to think again. Well as well as any pickle can think that is. Go Team Banana Slug |

Master 2231 Des Moines, Iowa | Subject: RE: Sept Run/Bike Challenge .... Results through Sept 9. The Fighting Pickles and Wombats have turned in amazing performances...with the Pickles having a slight lead. Hat's off to you. With only 30% of the month gone, they have both completed over 40% of their goals!! However, I predict an amazing comeback by the Banana Slugs this week. And no team is more than 3 percentage points behind the 30%. Great job everyone! (go Slugs!!) (Please let me know if you see any problems with the spreadhsheet or numbers...Thanks)
