Got in 4.5 miles. Yea. The temps are cooler today, which made for a lovely run around my hood.

I'm hoping to run this evening. I'll have to remember that the days are getting shorter though. I don't really like running in the dark....

Hello team,
I did my long run today (20km) and also logged my 8km from yesterday. That should help our team a little.
Can you believe that it snowed while I was jogging this morning......winter is almost here.....

That was my last long run before my half mary on Oct 25.

Very good race this morning, despite the rain. Nice, short swim, then a tough little 16.5 mile bike, and finally a 3-mile run that was said to be flat, but was not. And I ended up first in my age group! The award was a beautiful handmade pottery plate.

Good job, always nice to bring something home after a race.

Hard to believe just 2 weeks ago I was considering shutting it down entirely for the season. Did my long run - 18 miles. The last miles were very tough, and I took it easy throughout, but still 18 miles! Chilly morning, but the sun coming up and shining on the changing leaves was a great sight.

I'm going to get in another long run next weeked - aiming for over 20 - as my abbreviated training for NYC. Who knows...maybe too much training wears you down, so I'll actually be fresh. (ha! I'm grasping at anything here...)

I've got 14 miles planned today (my last "short" long run for a few weeks...). I don't like this cold! OK, it's only 55 degrees right now, but that is too cold for October.

Got my long run in today, and it went better than I expected post race. Just over 13 miles, so I'm already at 40% of my goal. Hope that helps boost the team.

No way we're in last place. I refuse to believe it.

*hangs head in shame*

I think I am part of the problem.  I haven't run in a few days.   I've been having too much fun with the family and not running.  I shall remedy that tomorrow.  Running 6ish sometime tomorrow.  I promise!

My tri today adds 10k to the my monthly total and catches me back up (or almost...)

On to half mary training now...  Can't slack on the training or the half mary will really hurt me...

No news at all. In my last inspire to her, I said we were going to organize a BT search party to hunt her down find her.

Anyone wanna join me on a trip to NH? (We have to hurry though. We need to get there before it snows. LOL)

It's not like her to stay away from BT for this long though....

*Sigh*

I'm about to become part of the problem. I was going to run today, but I had "family stuff" to take care of. Got home later than I thought I would....

So I didn't get the run in tonight. But I'll "get it done" tomorrow.

It's 10 PM. I can be there in 40 minutes.
Or maybe I'll wait until tomorrow morning, and give you a SURPRISE WAKE UP CALL.
Maybe I'll wait longer. Maybe I won't.
Maybe I'll wait until you're just drifting off to sleep, and then I'll ZAP you.

And that ^^^ should be sufficient to keep you awake. If I were you, I'd spend my entire "awake time" running....
