Prices are up for the holidays (around $57 a night for a shared "room" for the dogs at Pet's Mart. They even offer "doggy day camp" blech... BUT, booked up of course. Another place is 32 an night if in a shared kennel/cage. That's at my animal hospital that I go to. What do you suppose would be better? Mega Mart or Hospital? Hospital. Lots of incompetent people at Mega Mart. Lots. |

Just dogs and it would be the first time for them. I'm assuming they would at least take them out to relieve themselves and walk around a bit and not just live in their own waste for 5 days. |

But he isn't crate trained in the first place so might be different. agreed - whoever lets them play more. my vet is cheaper than the doggy day care place, but they are locked up all day. the extra $10 or $12 is worth them being able to play all day long. |

Easiest is to pay a neighbor kid (well, they live a mile away) 10 bucks a day to come over and feed/water them. Maybe pet them a little. Should it be more? 20 bucks a day? Honestly, I need to call up the bio-dad and mrs bio-dad up tonight to coordinate. I may just have a long conversation, tell them of my concerns, and if they have ANY concerns to tell me and I will leave them. Yes, I initially thought $20/day as well.
