My debut beer mile. Nick Symmonds holds the WR http://www.runnerspace.com/video.php?video_id=74899-Nick-Symmonds-5-19-Beer-Mile-TMZ Cool idea. Bummer I don't drink though. How about we drink four cups of water and see who can run the fastest with a full bladder. Or we could use ice cream. There is a budding race series called the Jog n Hog where you have to run 2 miles, eat a quart of ice cream and run back 2 miles. They also have an event somewhere that involves eating pepperoni knots and bacon or something like that. |

I guess maybe I am overwhelmed with everything going on in my life. This job thing is reaaaaaallly dragging out and turning into a beast. Like ... huge career decision stuff. Stuff that I wasn't even really looking for. And of course it's not far out from Boston. I don't really think running should take priority to career decisions (as it's NOT what I do, nor will it ever be what I do for a living) but it really does make me truly happy. Ugh. |

Master 6834 Englewood, Florida | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Asalzwed - 2013-03-19 12:56 PM Man, I have been really struggling. I can't quite put my finger on what is wrong. Stuff that I wasn't even really looking for. And of course it's not far out from Boston. I don't really think running should take priority to career decisions (as it's NOT what I do, nor will it ever be what I do for a living) but it really does make me truly happy. Ugh. Adrienne, I don't often go real name, so I must be serious. The job thing is a whole big deal that you have very little control over. Put it in a box and only open it when needed. Compartmentalize. Running may not be what you do for a living, but it is a part of who you are. Put it into a different box. Continue doing so with other life "stuff". Once you come to a final group of boxes, you will have a good idea of the ones you control, the ones that you don't control, and the ones that control you. Some are good, some are bad, and others just are out there. No matter what you find though, remember that the truly important things are not things at all. They are the people that you care about and the people that care about you. Life is like running, mostly easy, sometimes hard. Right now is one of those hard times, but you are stronger than anything life can throw at you. Remember to breath and enjoy. |

That would be the coolest thing for sure. I'd love to go toe to toe with Salty. Not to mention seeing us all in the cool Manatee t-shirts that we surely would get. I'll challenge you to a beer mile. I could do icecream. Perhaps better than I could do beer. You will love Milwaukee. We will get frozen custard. It will be glorious. Yes, my boss informs me Kopps is the place to go? Yep. That's my favorite. |

JK.Chris always gives good advice , listen to him.Asalzwed - 2013-03-19 12:56 PM Man, I have been really struggling. I can't quite put my finger on what is wrong. |
