Subject: RE: Bob Stocks' Group - CLOSED with some awesome peeps!!!Theresa - So sorry to hear about the miscarriage. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. About your training, I would suggest that you take advantage of the weather and increase your riding outside. Be careful about ramping up your running too fast, it's just too easy to get injured and set you back a couple weeks. Since you haven't been running I would pass on the 50 min TT that is in your plan. I like the easy running but might throw 4 or 5 30 sec striders (hard, controlled sprints) in to change your pace and work on some speed, 3 to 5 minutes of easy running between to recover. Make sure you are getting a rest day or 2 in to let your body recover. ![](https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/smile.gif) Group - I am sorry I have been a baaaaaaad mentor lately. It's been a little crazy around our house and I'm trying to get on track with my training. I am going nuts with the cold weather, I have yet to get my bike outside!! I will be a better mentor, I promise. GET OUT THERE AND TRAIN!!!!! There, was that better? ![](https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/smile.gif) Trix - Glad to hear you made up your mind about western states, you are amazing!!!
