Told Jeff to give her a huge shout-out next time he sees her and that there are peeps across the country (whoops, should have said around the world!) cheering for her. Will let you know when/if I hear more. Gotta go to a kiddo soccer game in about 40 min. so might not be able to update final results but will text or email someone else if I hear so they can post!!!

Happy Halloween, peeps! Just got back from a mud-bath of a soccer game (tons of rain last night!). I've never seen a ball be kicked so hard and stop so fast. The mud was the best defender -- neither team scored in the "mud goal" at one end of the field. Good times.

Thanks, guys - especially Kyla for the updates!  The support factor is HUGE!!

I'm wiped.  Will need to see how much of my ankle/knee/hip pain is mileage before I know if it affected my run.

Thrilled about the BQ again......but a bit disappointed with my time.  I was at about 1:55 at 13.1, and finished in 3:59:44.  Which, coincidentally, is EXACTLY one second faster than my Napa time.  So, it was a PR, but I was shooting for 3:45, and really thought I had it.  Also ran an extra .25 - need to learn to run straight.

Off for a recovery martini, and to watch the giants win.  Yea, niners.

Did my 3rd cross race today, rear brake cable came loose at the 2nd turn, gave the entire field at least 1:30 lead, so spent the rest of the race playing catch up.  45 minutes in high zone 4, low zone 5.

Still fun.

Just got done trick or treating.  I'll post picks in a bit.
