I still have all my fingers!! I think I'm going to start selling my pens and bottle stoppers on Etsy and at crafts fairs. Anyone have any advice? Good morning Kate!!! I have sold through ETSY since I started making the triathlon pendants. It is not where most of my things are sold, as I also do art shows and craft fairs and farmers markets. Make up a lot of business cards, you will need them. I have only been doing this a short time and have gone through over 1000 in the last year. And for the cost, it does have people calling you back for a purchase. Thanks Flip I appreciate the advice! |

I show it to my GF all the time. |

It's still one of my most favorite possessions that I have from him. He even willed down his lathe to me but I will never get it (long story)... along with a lot of his patterns and jigs. I was going to get into pens, chess pieces and these cool checkerboard bowls he made... similar to these: http://bowls.mikeswoodwork.net/2010/05/segmented-bowl-serving-set-mahogany.html I kept saying I wanted a new crafty hobby, maybe I should get a lathe and reconsider doing that. Had hobbies, so I wasn't the center of his life. |

Sorry you were taken when I was single plus I am too old and short. That is too bad. I had my locks changed 3 times in 2012 so I can't speak much differently then you from that time. Have a great trip and a great race. |

Like it. This is not a joke just a quote that speaks to many of my endeavors, particularly triathlon. G. K. Chesterton: "A man must love a thing very much if he not only practices it without any hope of fame and money, but even practices it without any hope of doing it well." |
