HA!  Everyone has family issues.

Mine?

1/2 brother -  gay

1/2 sister - has bi-racial daughter out of wedlock now married to hard core fundamental christian who didn't want to even recognize the daughter the first 2-3 years they were married.  Bi-racial daughter now has her own bi-racial daughter out of wedlock and just graduated college (so proud of her).

Parent divorced after 33 years of marriage.

Father converted from Baptist to Catholic when they got married.

Mother recently (about 7 years ago) to Judaism.

They all call me the normal one in the family.  THAT is frightening.

Spokes - 2009-05-14 10:36 AM I think everyone's family has skeletons and embarrassing issues.

That said, I think the best thing is to be straight wurkit. "This is who my Mom is" and anyone that can't deal with it, well, you probably don't need them in your life, FWIW.

Oh, I know, but I don't even want to deal with her, so it's not fair to subject anyone else to her, ya know? Good thing I've been single forever.

I agree with Spokes, everyone's got some sort of issues that can make it scary to a person they want to date.  I have a certifiably insane ex husband, and if I ever like someone then I have to go through the whole shpeel about him.  I always worry that it will send them for the hills.  But you just have to be ok with that; the right person will know that her behavior should not reflect poorly on YOU personally.
Yeah I once dated a girl whose ex boyfriend was the super jealous type. And he was a cop. Scary.

Is that how you ended up in prison?

Yeah after I beat his bi*** pig a** about 20 of his buddies with nightsticks and flashlights jumped me. I got 12 or 13 of them before they finally took me down.

you only got 12 or 13 of them?  what's wrong with you?  I might have understood if they had had tasers... but flashlights and nightsticks?  I expect more from you...

Shouldn't you be training or something?

Such as who?  Other than Longwell haven't we gotten rid of most of them?
I think we actually have more former Bear and Bill players than anything else.  We actually have drafted the majority of our mediocre roster.

They were gonna taze but I busted out with `Don't taze me bro!!!' and so they put the tasers away. So then I took the tazer and used it on them. TURN THE TIDES BABY!

Crownover! I ran 5.6 in 40 minutes last night. I think I can get us a sub-44 at Chicago.

NOICE!  And you still got tons of time to get that down even futher.

By the time we get to Chicago, I'll have put some wicked miles on the bike (RAGBRAI) and hope to have had some major speed work thrown in for good measure.

Beth and I went for a swim on Tuesday night and got a great feel for her pace.  I'm projecting her swim, with the run to the Transition to be around what I did.  About 29:00.  Then again, she wants to do some OWS races this summer so she may get it down even further.
