10 min core work about an hour trainer ride.  Now back to your regularly scheduled booty and whiskey programming...

I was a ROTC instructor at a college once. Once a year, I would buy large smoothies for our group of cadets, we had to drink it all quickly.............then we would run wind sprints until everyone.......even me..........threw up

Good Times!

Still cranking out workouts,

Core done today.

Also, a stand alone 5K, my first in years.  And....SLOWER than the run portion of my last sprint tri 5 weeks ago by about 5 seconds.  WTF????

Pulled off 3rd in AG out of like 50 women so I won't complain too much.  I just really wanted to break that stupid 7 minute pace!

Need to go train with Salty.

Podium??  Nice.

I wouldn't worry about the time...my 5K PR is after a 800y swim and 20 mile bike ride.  Haven't sniffed it since.

Crashed on the bike in my race yesterday and I am in a bit of a mess. Probably take a couple days off from all things active, then back at it.

Thanks! I am pretty good at telling that little voice in my head saying that I should skip to shut the hell up! Also, having the accountability of this thread really helps. The last thing I want is to get nasty PMs from anyone!

My race report. I am no big fan of hydrogen peroxide. I've had better days, but I've had worse as well, so no complaints from me.

Okay so I somewhat missed Saturday. I didn't get a specific core workout. I did get in 15 miles on the bike, and then I spent an hour or more working/cleaning on the boat, which includes lots of core based stuff.

Then I went quite a bit over today. Am I forgiven?

I took yesterday totally off. I just needed to check out, but I was totally ready for my almost 50mi ride today Laughing  Put down five 2min planks between 5 and 10pm. CORE DONE! hehehe

I'll forgive you if you forgive me.

I didn't do one effing thing yesterday.  Nada.  I had the best of intentions...something about doing a 90 minute trainer ride and a swim followed by some core after I got back from being out of town, blah, blah, blah...and then a steak, whiskey and beers got in the way.

I felt not one ounce of guilt.

Woot-woot taper!

This makes me think maybe you had someone challenging your stability in plank position;)

Not that anyone would ever do that...

Wow...crashed at 22 mph and got up and tried to finish.  That is BAMF material.

Hope you heal quickly...lots of season left.

Ok, I think I am just one day behind, but I have to check my logs to be sure.  I missed a day, then the next day did 15min to make up 1/2 the missed day.  But then I missed another day.  Then yesterday I did a HIM, so that means I get to skip, right?  But then I went to a BBQ which included a foam rolling session with a PT, and that involved some core work, so I think I made up my first missed day.  So that makes just one day behind.  Sealed

Here is my MILK MILE RACE REPORT

I am 100% on my core challenge. Was sure to get my core work in BEFORE the mile.

I'm doing Ragnar this weekend so I may need some harassing reminders to get my core work in.

Our gym switched over to all these TRX things and it's a total PITA.

Yeah, there are a ton of variables. Most likely? It was just an off day.

We all have em!
