Do you get it now? I'm swimming with Steve on Friday at my pool so if he is there maybe I can have him beat the freak up! And I can guarantee you that no one thinks I look hot in my cap and goggles....maybe he feels sorry for me .

Or maybe he's a lifeguard and was trying to determine if you needed rescue.... I know sometimes my swimming is confused for a panicky flail.

Right all the way with what everyone else said.  The ring would be the obvious solution for most.  Maybe on Friday you can get Steve to give him the "if you look at my woman again I'm going to kill you look" and just stare him down.  I bet he leaves.

I have a warning for everyone here.  I think my wife joined BT a few years back and came up with something we all hear and say to each other about the "off season".  You know, the part about getting caught up on some projects you've been putting off.  I'm sure that was her idea.  Last week she asked me what I was going to do with all my free time for the next few months so I told her a few things - work on my advanced PGA Certifications, try some yoga and strength training, actually try to play a little more golf.  Well before I could finish, she threw in - "do you think you would have any time to tile the kitchen floor like we've talked about?"  Oh crap.  So, I've spent the last two days laying tile.  My back and knees are killing me!  I don't even get this sore during my tri workouts!  I think from now on, I will have some event to train for.  If you notice, I magically have a half mary in February.

i suck on the bike and hated getting passed ALL. DAY. LONG. up in lubbock.  so i register for fat guys because clydes go last right.  nope.  not sunday.  we go second.  worse. 34 & under chicks are in front of me. so half of the pace booty is out in front of me never to be seen again. 

i know HTFU.  yeah steve. its called for in this situation.

oh.  you'll like this though.  course marshaling and security is provided by the harley owners group of cut' n shoot, texas.  yes that's an actual town here.  so, if you happen to be driving in conroe texas on sunday, do the speed limit.

What???  You can't edit out a picture and tell everyone that 'said' picture is now being sent via email.  You could strike the 'Maybe this image...' statement, but I'm pretty sure there's a rule about saying that you're removing a picture.

This is a big week - Ironmans, Half Ironmans, Marathons, Half Marathons - Woo Hoo, we are ready to rock 'n roll.

I feel as ready as I'll ever be for this race.  I want to get going.  These little taper runs are driving me crazy along with my children.  They drove me to drinking last night so I was burping up wine on my short run after dinner.

Good luck Tracey, Chet, Suzy and John - have fun and kick some butt.  Did I forget anyone?  Oh yeah - good luck Tony entertaining the children Sunday morning!

well aside from my rant last night,  feeling great.  no nerves yet.  just ready to go.  washed the bike last night.

i'll have my bib number this afternoon but I don't think there's live tracking so I'll report in when I get home sometime sunday evening.

in case i wanted to chicken out i didn't tell anyone.  lol!   no i just registered for it a few weeks ago.  wanted to see how the training went w/ the wee one before i comitted.
