Artemis - 2008-02-15 9:24 AM Morning Scissors!! It's Friday! Hope everyone is looking forward to a great weekend. Anyone have plans (apart from running)?

Nothing excited planned here. Just hoping to get better. Woke up with a sore tummy this morning. Not sure if it was from the experimental 2 mile run last night or just the tummy not liking real food yet. I wish it would go away already.

Stacie, Dee said you're welcome to adjust your goal if you want.  She said to take the number of days you missed due to illness and subtract from 29.  Then divide that number by 29 to get a percentage and multiply by your original goal to get your new goal.  Does that make sense?

Yeah it does - it was close to what I was going to ask for - but a little more. I was just going to subtract the mileage I had planned for the time I missed but that works as well. Just gives me more to work on when I get back that's all.

Please remember to update the spreadsheet with your mileage by the end of the day today!

We've been doing a great job running this week, so we want it to count in the team standings!

Good almost afternoon, Scissors. My son earned his black belt after 4 hours of testing last night and an additional hour this morning. Whew! That was tough stuff. I have a 7 mile run planned for today but must wait until hubby returns from his 60 mile bike ride. Have an awesome weekend!!!!

Hi Stacie,

If you have training plans, and you've missed specific days, then yes - you can subtract the mileage you had planned for those days.

Either method is ok.

Hope you're feeling better!

I did a ride today. It turned out to be a very difficult ride. I'm not sure if it was the route, the wind, or just my body not being at it's best. Probably a bit of all three!

Thanks Lyssa...I have no idea why my last post did what it did with the HTML...or what ever you call it that makes it a link thingie (I am so not a geek).

     Sorry about that.

Maybe I should just stick to running.  ;-)
