Work is crazy nuts today. It's like a bad flu; coming out of both ends!

You know TAN other than being busy at work and not being able to spend time with you guys the last couple of weeks have been pretty good to me.  

 

I am coaching my sons basketball team this year and we got it handed to us last night. Very frustrating as a coach and a dad to see the kids get a beatdown like that. we have a lot of work to do this season.

Isn't that the great part about sport though. It teaches you that you don't always win at everything.

Karma: You took mine. Life has been OK, but highly frustrating lately. Little problems really. Like spending 90 minutes with Verizon "customer service" last night trying to make 1 smpli plan change and pay my bill. Never could process the credit card, but it went through on-line in 2 seconds. at home sick... work caught up with me go figure. So This is a sick/mental health day. I am not horrible but I am smart enough to stay home when sick. I am sure I will hear about it from work. they HATE call ins but they can kiss my bum.

So I am going to use today to relax and recover. So I can get back to working out soon.

Seems I started getting busy a month ago and rubbed off on a lot of people here.

I haz a little sad today.
I had to change my race registration from the Ultra Marathon to the Half.


It took me a good 30 seconds to hit the "submit" button.

I packed too lightly for my lunch time run. It's 60 and windy, and I have shorts and a tank top.

Leg injury still nagging. It's getting better but I haven't run in 3.5 weeks and don't plan to run much between now and the race (Feb. 27).

The Ultra will always be there. I keep telling myself that.
But I'm already invested in race fees, a hotel reservation, and plans to drive down there with another BTer who is doing the Ultra. Sigh.
