Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava jsnowash - 2008-04-27 3:10 PM Posted my DOUBLE MILES from my race today to the spreadsheet, putting me over the top for s/b/r goals, and 3 days left in the month to train! My race was a bit chilly today. It was threatening rain, but luckily it held off for the duration of the race. I even brought home some hardware! Second place in my AG (but -- uhhh -- there were only FOUR in my AG, so I got hardware for finishing in the top 50% - go figure!) I'll post a RR when I get offical times.
Way to go on the hardware.... |

Member 168 Omaha, NE | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava I just put in my double mileage for my race this morning and have 1.06 miles left for my run goal for the month. Definitely going a little over for that one! AND I only have another 650 yards for my swim goal, so that will for sure get knocked out in the next three days! |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava abud7373 - 2008-04-26 5:38 PM Hi all, Just a quick note, I heard there were legs that I had to check out! I have been out of commission for the past few days with food poisoning. If you have ever had it, I am sorry. If you have never had, may you never get it! I may have to lower my bike goal. I have about 13 miles to do, but I am not sure I will be able to get them in. I still have 1000 swim yards, but that is pretty low impact, so I should be good there. I cannot figure out how to add photos, so I cannot post my legs. I do not have the software to compress the photos. I hope everyone is well. Nooooooooo, say it isn't so! How are we going to partay and all that stuff next week if you are not feeling well!?! Seriously, hope you get to feeling well soon! DANG did your whole family get it!? I have not had it but I will never forget when I was in the 8th grade, I came home from spending the night out, and my entire family (parents and three brothers and my sister were all in bed....all of them were soooo sick. My parents sent me to the store in the car....I was only 14 and boy did I feel grown up! Luckily I did not crash! but they were soooooooo sick for two to three days...I kept asking my mom did she need me to run any more errands, but never got to drive the car again...until I was legal! hehe FEEL BETTER GIRL....I am going to be in San Diego from Wednesday next week to the following Tuesday! Hope we get to hang out together! |

GREAT job on the race...and the hardware...Remember..there were plenty of people sitting at home that were in your age group that chose not to get off the sofa and do the training/race...so don't feel bad at all that there "were only FOUR in my AG"...that's their fault not yours because you did the work...besides that you are a LAVA LADY |

It's always fun to get hardware I got 3rd (out of 3) in my second tri - I wasn't sure how many people were even in my AG - it was kind of a rainy miserable day and so we didn't stick around to see as I was convinced there was no way I was getting anything Imagine my surprise when a few weeks later I got a medal in the mail (especially since they had made a HUGE deal out of the fact that they were not going to send medals out) I was literally seconds behind the 2nd place gal and I thought dang - if only - LOL |

Pro 4353 Wallingford, PA | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava Thanks... I'm anxious to see the full results. The times they had posted at the end of the race were from the start of the first wave, so I'm not exactly sure what my final time was, but I have a general idea. I did this same race 2 years ago during my 1st tri season, and I THINK I knocked almost 20 minutes off my time, which I'm pretty darn happy with! |

Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: Team Lively Lava Happy Monday to everyone! It was supposed to be a swim day for me. I am at 105% on the swim and I was going to throw that up to 110% today, but alas I am not feeling too well. Something I ate didn't agree with me, and lets just say I am having a workout just trying to keep my stomach down. I am at 110% on the run, and I will put the bike up there hopefully tomorrow. Depending on how things play out I may be able to get a swim in on Wednesday, but for my sake I really need the time on the bike...hmmm maybe a brick on Wednesday. I don't think I can even get to the pool today to throw in the 800 yards to put me at 110%. |

My month totals are going to need to be lowered if that is still ok.
