So, I remain without a bike for the foreseeable future, which sucks since I was supposed to race on the 6th of December. Lame. Beg. Borrow. Steal. Whatever it takes...I was thinking about going to the race, finding someone with the right size bike during transition setup, stalking them on the run (it's a reverse tri), then cold-cocking them in T1 and taking their bike. Or I might just ask for a refund from the RD. loaner from the LBS?? since they can't get you the bike you want when you need it... Hadn't thought of that. Not sure how it would work, or how they would take the request since they weren't the ones who broke my pretty carbon fiber frame in the first place. Stupid garage. Um, my LBS has some 2010's |

Yep... the title complany, the lender and the realtor have all been great. They've completely changed their schedules around each time to accomodate me. Now I get to call them all again to say... we can't close until tomorrow... for the 4th day in a row. Oh, and the utility company turned off the water at my current/rental house yesterday despite me requesting it be turned off at the end of the month. So, no running water... no shower... no toilet... no morning coffee. Sweet. |
