I used to drink sooooo much of it. Now I love unsweetened tea.

I like both.

I don't drink Iced Tea anymore.  It was one of the only things I could drink while I was on dialysis, and I don't have a taste for it anymore.

Dude, make your own. I do, about every 3 days. Those iced tea makers are PERFECT for it.

Do I have to do everything around here? Jeez.

People say I have a look that I give when I get asked a question like that.  It's not on purpose, but I guess it is the same look every time.

Are you having it professionally colored or doing it yourself?

The two brands I know of that are Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) free are Pureology (about $30 for a 10oz bottle) and Coloresse which can be found at Sally Beauty Supply (about $9 for a 12oz bottle).  I would deff. give them a try they are supposed to be MUCH MUCH better on fading then even the color specific shampoos..

Professionaly done. She keeps telling me it's because I'm outside a lot, I swim a lot, and dark color just fades faster. She actually sells the Pureology brand but I might go to a supply store to check it out. I know Target started carrying it, but my lady said it is a watered-down version for drugstores.

I don't get the sweet tea thing. I love iced tea, but with sugar in it, yuck! My family (from Texas) never drank tea sweet, so I guess it's just a learned taste thing.

Rocket Surgeon huh??????

My response was "Frozen pizzas."

It just proves that she NEVER thinks before she asks a question. She was trying to categorize vendors or something...

See I would have gone with 'Copper and Plastic', without even breaking a straight face.

Spokes - 2008-07-31 12:34 PM I just throw 4 green tea bags in a 1/2 gallon container, pour in hot water and wait.

Yes, but then you don't have a fancy machine to do it.

That's pretty harsh man, if one of my customers said asked "what do we buy from ________ Tire & Exhaust" the answer could easily have been brakes, oil, filters, etc...

Now if the only thing you buy from anyone is steel, then yeah, no the brightest question in the world.

Hey now... I spent $15, and it saves me time and trouble of dealing with pots o' boiling water.

Plenty worth it in my book.

Our office bathroom soap is coconut scented. Je n'aime pas de coconuts.

Ick.

I did the same thing, was extremely blond for a while.  I think it was something in freshman year of college like, I bet you won't leave this stuff in for an hour.  I left it in for 2ish.  Then I let it grow back out.

She actually sells the Pureology brand but I might go to a supply store to check it out. I know Target started carrying it, but my lady said it is a watered-down version for drugstores.

Some of the home box kits don't have a strong enough developer to cover gray..  That's why I asked about the home vs. professional    Dark color shouldn't fade that fast..  Do you put conditioner in your hair before you swim?  I know that makes a HUGE difference for me in how long my hair color will last..  I'm tempted to buy all three (the salon Pureology, Target Pureology and Coloresse from Sally Beauty) and do a comparison.

Yup I soak my hair in tap water and put conditioner in... every time I swim. I know, it's crazy. Maybe it's my hair's fault. I go in once every 3 months. I'm due to go in August, horray!
