good morning peeps.

as if mondays are not hard enough, a mom WALKED in with her 3 year old demanding to be seen.  the kid looks fine, has a cold. acting great.

I am a solo doc - NOT A WALK IN CLINIC

being on top - does that mean the day will turn around?

so question folks...

wife's out of town... I just got a free Redbox rental code...

I have been wanting to see both No COuntry For Old Men, and There Will Be Blood. But absolutley NOT in the wife's interests... no big deal really.

which one should I get tonight?

I haven't seen either - former roommate saw both (though she is female, so that might have influenced her view), and she liked No Country For Old Men (though said it was violent),  but wasn't a huge fan of There Will Be Blood.

Definately see No Country For Old Men. There Will Be Blood was okay. I was disapointed.

Girl is on my mind...
try ignore, try to unwind,
but she is on my mind

Eyes are in my eyes...
where I've been, how time flies,
when she is in my eyes

See her standing there...
she's gentle now, and takes great care
see her standing there

Hold me close to you...
not one thing, that I would not do
if you hold me close to you

Girl is on my mind...

Morning all...

B.. haven't seen either movie...

Rottentomatoes rates

there will be blood 91% Fresh

No country for old men 94% fresh

So i think either is a great choice... the only thing that i've heard is that Blood is more Talky talky and No country has a good bit of violence...

No Country For Old Men is weird... but good. Haven't seen There Will Be Blood.

Hey, TAN.

'Sup Ryan... Ready for all the BCS drama and talk about PSU? Still don't know why Tech leap frogged so many places for beating Tejas.

My sister and I hung out on Saturday and rented Baby Mama and Atonement.

Baby Mama is silly and kinda predictable, but still hilarious and actually a pretty cute movie - and I heart Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. I had already seen it, but sis hadn't yet, and wanted to.

Atonement - DANG, it's depressing!!!! Well-done and well-acted, but holy crap! Great score, though.

We watched Baby Mama Friday.  Funny flick, but predictable like you described.

Yeah, if you don't go in expecting much more than a silly comedy, it's actually quite enjoyable.

"Btitch, I don't know your life!!!"

(FWIW, I generally prefer intelligent, deep, arty films that make you think and all that jazz. But sometimes, you just have to be stupid and zone out)

Yeah, that's the big convo around here today. It's frustrating. All I can hope is that TT loses, which is likely, and PSU goes undefeated.

Just got confirmation that I AM flying to Iowa Friday to watch the PSU game Saturday, so that'll be cool since it means so much now.

even if PSU wins out, I think people will still seek to justify putting a one-loss team over PSU... since it's such a weak conference...

You could just have her over for Pizza ..  Then that would get her out of your system for a few hours and you'll be able to think with a clear head...

We'll see what happens after dinner on Tuesday.

How many dates will that have been? (Not saying there's any sort of rule, just curious)
