Well hey, lets talk about bacon, or how cold it is.  Topics like that NEVER get old...

No, I've been on the couch all day.

Wash those sheets yet????

Nope

Burn them. Please.

Artemis - 2009-12-10 2:20 PM I have to go to Walmart today.  I'm not looking forward to it.

You should be on the lookout for weirdos to take pics of and post on peopleofwalmart.com. Might make it more fun.

My goal is to not spend any extra time in there than I have to.  I hate it.  I could avoid it by going to multiple stores, but I am lazy, so I guess I get what I deserve.

So can I. Not WalMart. I only go to WalMart as a last option. Like when I was in Colby, Kansas.

Yes, I am thankful that there are no Walmarts that are really close to me. Target is closer, so it's more convenient and that is where I go. However, there have been times where I've had to go to Walmart and I agree, it's quite horrid.

urp...

Got the kitchen painted yesterday afternoon. Looks great. No, I won't post pics.

Now I gotta find a mechanical disc brake (or maaaaaaybe a hydraulic) in my budget for the new fork.

No. Strawberries and little cubes of pound cake. Also, pretzels and chocolate fondue = good. A girl friend of mine had a fondue party recently - cheese and chocolate with all sorts of things to dip in either one, and sticks to put them on. Fun!

what's your budget.  I was shopping for hydraulic brakes and thought they were pretty reasonable.  It's the 29er forks that are obscenely espensive.

The 29er suspension forks are. I'm riding rigid.

Knock that one out of the park.

F you Mediacom.  Can't receive email.  Awesome.  Because who needs to get email.  I love when companies switch from a system that worked just fine to a new system only to find out that the new system doesn't function.  Isn't there some sort of testing that could have determined that this was going to happen?  Also, throwing up a message that your call center is over-loaded with calls and telling me to try again later doesn't do anything to make me less angry.

What took you so long?  We haven't been in our place for a month and we already have the living room, hallway, master bath, guest bath and dining room painted (and the vaulted ceiling).  Of course, we don't have the hoppin' nightlife of D-Vegas to distract us.

I found one, but it looks kinda ghetto. Probably stick with the XTR V-brake in the rear.

As cheap as possible. I have brifters, so I'd like to keep them if possible. I do have an extra front shifter, so I can go hydraulic if I want.

PricePoint has Avid BB7 calipers for $40 or a Hayes XC9 full setup for $50.

Kido, you can score a 29er Reba for a nice price, though I've heard some people had problems with the build quality, IIRC.

www.trackbc.com You can curse me once you're an addict. Lot's of disc brakes on chainlove.

If you use eBay a seller called bikemaui sells great new stuff at a reasonable price. He typically posts 2 of each item: 1 at auction, one with Buy it now.

The Reba SL came stock on my Specialized.  So far, so good.  I don't think I would have issues getting the same thing if I build up a hard tail.
