I got some decent shots o' the shuttle. It was really low AND they did a nice circle around the U of A mall area .... sort of a fly by in honor of astronaut Mark Kelly (who was there somewhere) as he was the last person to fly the damn thing. It's like 101 degrees out too .. and humid. And these 2 adorable college girls latched on to me for awhile and asked me tentatively .. "you don't go to school here .. do you?". I said no , but I did in 1981-83. They said "1981!!! .. OMG. Are you retired now?". Children are so cute. And yet, you can probably swim, bike, and run faster than they can (and I am sure you look better). Ha! The really odd thing is one of them asked me for my phone number and if I had Facebook. She was interested in photography stuff that we were talking about. I can't get a man to ask me out or for my number but I can get an 18 year girl to?? I am clearly doing it wrong. I am sure a lot of guys would kill to have that problem. Seth McFarland was on SNL last weekend... This reminded me of that. |

You'll know it when you see it it's big and piggybacked on another big plane. Dumb! Everybody knows it went to Pluto, and it was that fateful trip that delisted the little space rock as a planet. Education these days leave much to be desired. |

what is wrong with 18 year olds. I was not that dumb at 18... I was certainly doing some stupid stuff at that time but I had a little bit of understanding of the world. |

Prof at Duke is making a DNA array to dip in sera sample and determine ifit's bacteria, viral, toxin or exactly what's making a patient show up with fever, nausea and diarrhea which could be any of those. Only e correct DNA binds to the pathogen and bingo; the doc knows what you've got. |
