What is that?!!Well Sam if you want to discuss training, I did a 6 mile run this AM in 50 minutes as prescribed by my coach with (6 ) 1:30 reps at between 8 and 8.4 mph and 1:30 slower speed between them. This is the fastest he has had me run in the two and half weeks I have been under his instruction. I could feel tingling tightness in my hamstrings from the lunges he has me do. This was the least fun workout I have had to date. I am hoping this will improve over time (d'uh ). We are running 9 miles outside on Sunday. If it is anything like our last run together, wish me luck. The off road hills, even at only 6-6.5 mph, are brutal on me. I guess I am getting what I asked for as my run has fallen apart and I need to work on it, and work hard at it during this "off-season." Doug |
