mr2tony - 2008-05-27 10:59 AM I'm having one of those `I hate my job' days.

That's too bad.  I'm having an "I love my job" day.  My boss is out all week.

ka-chow.

Speaking of decent quality beds.. I'm thinking about getting this one for my son.. I don't know why I felt like sharing it here... I just did..

My buddy had a bed like that in his dorm... saved him a TON of space.

Some of my fraternity brothers and I would build those for a 6-pack back in the day. Granted, they were no where near that nice, but cheap and super functional. Unless you were an idiot, like one friend, that miss measured and wound up sleeping about a foot from the ceiling. Knocked is @$$ out twice waking up to quickly. HA! Not the brightest bulb in the box.

I had a loft in college, while not a foot off the ceiling I do remember it as being tough to get into on some nights. Trying to make that climb when you could barely walk straight was tough.

Hence the reason we had a great sofa under one of our lofts.  To "crash" when we couldn't make it "upstairs".

Oh, and when my friend did it, he was stone cold sober both times.  Second time, he had a bump and bruise that lasted a week!  Friggen hilarious.  Still hasn't lived it down and that was 15 years ago.

Never lived in a dorm.  Experience I didn't have.  Lived in a BEQ (Bachelor's Enlisted Quarters) and then, when I went to college, I got an apartment.

So we offset each other huh? I think my hate-Fu is stronger than your love-Fu, so maybe I still win.

I have been routinely hating my job, lately.  Not sure exactly why.  Maybe it is other stressful things going on that are riding over into the work attitude.  That's probably it.

If the part # for an 8G-10FJX fitting is G25170-0810, what would logic tell you the part # for a 10G-12FJX fitting would be?

Flocking IDJITS!

A set of ball bearings, some 40 weight oil and some gauze pads?

Those things weren't the best in which to have relations either.

My ex had a top bunk in her dorm... equally difficult.

That made me think of a story that made me laugh so hard that - even though I am in my office by myself - threatened to make me pee my pants.

My wife had a roommate with the top bunk who thought it was acceptable to have guys on the bottom (my wife's bunk)... and that chick had a lot of guys... even now my wife has a nervous habit of changing the sheets every other day.

Again - laughing hysterically.  It's like you guys were there. (It wasn't me, but my best friend, but I heard the story so many times that it always makes me laugh).

I always had the courtesy agreement of "if you hear anything, just pretend to be asleep".

And people wonder how I ended up as a voyeur.

That's a different issue. She was doing guys on my wife's bunk because there wasn't room on the top bunk. On my wife's bedding. While my wife was out.

Looking back, it's a hell of a shame they didn't have tiny cameras back then. We could have made a killing on a webcam.

My, now wife's, roomate one year would have to be gone very early in the morning and would put her make up on, stark naked.  Loved sleeping over at her room.  Loved it!

That's sacrelige, dude. Blech. BLECH!

Ahhh college. I remember having relations in every place possible EXCEPT the roommates bed. You just don't do that! That is, unless you hate your roomie. Did your wife's roomie hate your wife?
