That's okay. It was one of the few rules set in place by the mods, to allow us to continue with TAN. Pics eat the bandwidth of the site, so with a thread this large, we already eat enough of it

Did you get the rule rundown yet?

#2 - no "L-O-L" in TAN. We just think it's dumb. 'Snerk' or BWAHAHAHA are acceptable substitues.

#3 - What happens in TAN stays in TAN.

#4 - No "talking" about non-TAN'ers or other threads in TAN.

Nope... If it ain't fun... what is the worth of doing it?

Now during my HIM, after the bike, being really dehydrated on the run... was it fun? No, not really, but it got better and felt fantastic to actually finish.

What is dragging you down?

Usually, during the run. But once I finish, it's all good again.

A co-worker just asked if I wanted one of his "Sweet & Salty Nut" flavored breakfast bars (yes that is the actual name). I declined.

Troof - you can only make the decision that you hate it after a race - not during.  Everyone hates it during a hard race - that's why not everyone does it.  If it was easy - everybody would do them.

I sure as hell did yesterday on that bike course. But I keep telling myself that it's just the inexperience talking. I like the swim and am starting to LOVE the run (crazy!). Actually, I thnk, no, I know I am more excited for Marine Corps Marathon than I was for this Oly, even before it turned into a du. Only thing is, even if the bike sucks for me (which it usually does), I love the feel AFTER the race is over. And yesterday, I remembered how much I HATE the feeling of DNFing or DNSing or just plain not doing a good job. And that is enough.

What's eatin' ya?

Morning TAN peeps.

How is everyone today?

Morning Crowny.

10 hours of sleep last night and I'm feeling good to go today.  Drive home seemed a bit on the long side, but I got to listen to some football.  F-ing Bears.  How did that happen?

I think doing my marathon last october got me to enjoy running... i understand what you are saying about getting excited for the marathon... totally awesome experience.

yeah... sometimes races suck so I don't think about tris so much in the midst of them... just focus on the task at hand.

I agree - the Sweet and Salty peanut ones are ridiculous! My ex-boyfriend used to buy them in bulk from Costco and I would always eat half the box.
