MrTony making out with a random skank and getting her sick would mean a HO! down for a few weeks, then whos going to pick-up the local loosers at the bars. You are ruining the holidays man lol.

He said he had Greasy tacos last night so make of that what you will

Morning TriAya

And a {{{MELON PRESS}}} for you.

It's evening here, but considering my heart's in So Cal ... the greeting is totally appropriate.

What part of So Cal are you from?

I spent about 7 years in the Inland Empire and 7 years in Los Angeles. Venice Beach. That's where I left my heart. If you find it, you may keep it

I'm an OC guy so I don't spend much time in the IE or LA. If I do find it'll keep good care of it

Probably about a 52. If you're tall and long-legged (I think that's right?) it's not going to fit you.

at my height - 5'10" - and being "half legs" - i ride a 56 cm roadie.

Interesting...I am a lot of torso!  SO i am thinking of a 54 in a tri bike but I have a lot trouble getting the right fit....even with the help of professionals!  What is yout inseam....without heels???

Ok - so what you are looking for is something that has a longer top tube in relationship to the seat tube height.  Almost all bike from cervelo and Felt are long and low, as well as Jamis and Leader.  The Scott Plasma and the Kestrel Airfoil are also.  Though Kuota is usually a narrower frame (for someone that is leggy) the Kueen K is low and is a beautiful bike (expensive too).  I think both the Kilo and the Q Roo are also low (from Quintana).  Not sure about Blue's geometry, since I haven't looked at them that much.

You want your first one on your ribs?  I went with upper back for my first one. I plan on getting a few more as $ permits but the next two are going to be big. I am also thinking of a rib tat, it will be my kid’s names with some kind of Celtic design to even out the lengths of the names.

i have no clue what my inseam is! haven't started testing tri bikes out but because of the geometry GENERALLY people ride shorter on their TT than road bike.  i actually ended up being far more comfortable on a men's bike...

Yes a women bike is out!  Im not comfy on any bike so I guess that is the problem?  I going right in for the TT bike.....

With in the next 30 days I will have a bike.

DO the fit calculator at www.competitivecyclist.com and get your dimensions. Check those against stock geometries.

No one measures bikes the same way. A Trek 54 is more like a 51 from another manufacturer.

I figure its going to be brutal! but the ribcage is where I want it and prolly the only place that will look right and fit with the design

Super confusing.....because the last two places told me the Cervelo was NOT a good fit!  He said my hamstrings were way too tight!  But I will take this infor and use the best I can.  I just down want to drop a couple of grand to find out I have the wrong bike!  Tony are you getting all of this.....for our next shopping experience?

If I did a tattoo it would  in a place where there is more muscle and bone than a place where fat can get to. like your shoulder  , arm , neck ,calf. You are  young and if you gain weigh weight at some point in your life that tattoo on your rib cage is not going to look good

Yeah, like JD said ... HTFU.

That said, I'd get the rough design inked on in permanent marker first (many places will do this for you for a small fee). That way you can be sure if it's EXACTLY where you want it and the size, etc.

I can see why you would be confused, but we are talking two different aspects here.  One is body geometry (low and long) and one is body ability (basically the elasticity in your body).  This can hinder your proper fit, for sure.  The hip angle produced by the cervelo probably makes ou have to go into a position that gets you very near 90 degreees (legs to torso) and that might be hard for you based on the elasticity of you hammies.  How, exactly, did this gentleman determine that your hamstrings did not have the elasticity needed?  By looking at you?
