No rental option, and I'm not a grown up. I think I will go to the mba-only champagne brunch then leave.
I didn't go to my undergrad education either. That stuff is boring.

I went to my MBA graduation in 2008. I just wanted the photo with the hood. It was super boring and they forgot to call our class - someone had to interrupt at the end and remind them to let us walk across the stage.

Well congrats on finishing your MBA. Was it a check in the box or definite value add?

For me, it started as a check in the box, but it has certainly been a huge value add.

It's rendered him speechless, so whatever it cost, I'd guess that it was worth it.

If it's free, do it! An education is very important. I am hoping to finish my bachelor's this year.

Totals are at 14.2 inches right now. 2nd biggest snowstorm in city history. Borrowed my neighbors snow shovel but at the rate I was shoveling it would take 2-3 hours to do my driveway, no joke. It's a long driveway. And still snowing so it's pretty pointless.

Gave up to come inside and cook up some balasmic braised chicken breasts. Maybe some mashed cauliflower if I get crazy.

Weatherman just said "ThunderSLEET" - yes.

You must have kept most of the storm.  We were supposed to get 12" and it quit snowing and we maybe have 4"  Maybe it is stalled and we are not done yet.

Be safe.

We had about 3 different rounds between yesterday and today so don't count the totals just yet. Didn't leave the house today and I don't plan on it tomorrow. I dunno, maybe I'll dig out the Yak Traxx and treck to the grocery store just for kicks. That might be one of those "sounded like a good idea at the time" things though.

Sucks that me and a girlfriend from Kansas City had plans to drive to Texas Saturday for a half marathon! Neither of us can get out of our driveways - and she was going to head here (2.5 hour drive for her) tomorrow after work. I'll be pretty disappointed if we don't make it, but safety first.

On the stovetop - first brown chicken breast and veggies, then add 1/2c balsamic vinegar and a can of diced tomatoes, simmer for 15 minutes. It was SO good!
