Subject: RE: Pay it forwardI have a Cateye CS-1000 trainer that is just taking up space in my basement. It is missing a couple of little rubber pieces that go on the end of the legs, but it doesn't affect its functionality. Since this thing is bulky and heavy, I would prefer not to ship it. I live in Woodbridge, VA (about 20 miles south of DC ) and if somebody in the area could get it, that would be best. The reason I'm giving this away is that I never figured out how to set my old bike up on this a trainer and ended up finding a slick deal on a spin bike. I've since sold my old road bike and have a tri bike and just use the spin bike when I can't go out for rides outside. . Here is a link to a place that used to sell them and shows what it looks like: http://www.beyondmoseying.com/cateye-cs-1000-bicycle-trainer.htmlHere is a description of it: The Cateye CS-1000 lets you set your mag resistance level as you're riding, simulating a hill climb up to 10% through eight steps. Use this in combination with the turbo fan, for realistis "road feel," or without, to keep the noise down. Integrated cycle computer track your current speed, distance, exercise time, load (% grade), power (watts) and energy (calories). Solid front fork/rear wheel mount fits road and mountain bikes. Folds for storage
The CS-1000 is the only trainer stable enough for full sprint workouts, that's why it's the most requested trainer from track specialists worldwide. It features both wind turbine and magnetic grade resistance so you can completely customize your indoor workout. With calculated power display, it is the most complete trainer on the market today
