Hmmmm, I have three shots at it in '10. So, I am solo this weekend and here I am watching the show you raved over, the Incredibles....where is the lady you compared me to? |

Wish I had better news to report, but today just wasn't my day. I did run about 50k in about 7:40. Unfortunately the last 6 miles or so were while I was hopelessly lost off course with two other women. I did learn a lot today and have a whole new respect for trail running. Can't pretend I'm not hugely disappointed, but I did have fun (at least until I got lost) and learned a lot. I will definitely be doing this again, only without the getting lost part  I'll be writing a race report soon with all the details. The day was quite an adventure! |

I want some but cannot find it locally. eBay sellers are topping $250-300 per bottle, but I should be able to buy it somewhere for closer to $150. Any helpful hints? I've called all of the local places here and they've all sold out - normally only ordering 2-3 bottles per year. Otherwise I found 1 place that has 2 bottles (2003 and 2007) but will be sampling the beers sometime in January. Rec. serving size is 2oz. You can find info on the SA site under 'Extreme Beers' http://www.samueladams.com/world_of_beer.aspx i'll ask the shop down here in the morning. else, it might be to late in the season. |

What is that?!! absolutely awesome Roni. 50 K is so amazing. even when lost you complete over 50 K. wow you are a hero and inspiration to me. I still have a hard time believing what so many of us have accomplished in such a short time frame. I told my sister in law what you were doing and she almost fainted. You have accomplished what so many of us only think about. I was once asked why we do these things and the best answer I could come up with is the satisfaction of doing something so completely out of the ordinary. Everyone here is well above the oidinary but you have taken it one step further. Congratulations
