Hop a quick flight to N'Orlins and get you an erstah po-boy. You and the misses could be back by midnight.

I got me one of those when I was there a couple months ago... that and a great gumbo... yeah.  awesomeness...

You taking anything for it?? Or just pushing your way through it?

A big dose of Aleve for my pulled hammy last year really helped out a lot.

lots and lots of aleve.  for the first two days it did nothing.  yesterday i started functioning.  night time is the worst, i can't sleep.  the doc i rushed to see sat (you know, since i couldn't walk i thought there was a problem) just said rest and take aleve.  that's it.  i'm emailing the RD for a 10/11 sprint to see if i can roll my reg over to next year

10/11 is a good ways away. Week and a half. Did the doc suggest no??

I know I'm not super excited about my marathon on 10/18 because of my two week long cold.

the doc sucked.  didn't ask anything about my fitness, history with back problems, etc.  but i do know that the race is in less than 2 weeks and i can't mount my bike...soooo...i'm not too hopeful.  definitely won't be doing any S/B/R before next week and that then gives me less than a week to get my (minimal) run fitness back to where it was.  just doesn't seem too smart.

I have back to back 90 minute workouts tonight.

Swim then bike or bike then swim?  Thoughts?

i would say that except for the sun is setting earlier and i don't like to ride in the dark so i'd ride first.  but my pool closes at 8 so i'd be screwed anyways.

Yeah... but remember... it's just a sprint

No, definately listen to your body. You will not have lost as much S/B/R fitness as you are thinking.

I'm so excited, I might pee my pants...

Cervelo needs to warrantee my frame (P2) so I get a NEW frame for 100 bucks worth of shipping!

HOWEVER, I worked out a deal that I can upgrade to a 2009 P3 frame (one of my all time favorite designes) for the difference in price of the frames!!!!

I have always dreamed of owning a P3!!!!  drool......
