Oooh awesome! I got hit right in the bewb and it hurt like a mofo.

Doh!  Hahaha

Pub crawls were always the best.

How in depth of a remodel are you doing, pitt??

Not terrible, but enough. Cabinets out and replaced. Countertops are installed for me as part of the cost. Appliances (Samsung) and flooring (pergo). Paint, move 1 circuit. I'm taking next week off for the demo and prep.

That actually sounds like fun
Especially the part where cabinets and countertops are being done for you.  That takes a lot of the burden off!  Take before and after pics

I always do my remodels the stupid way.... I start them on a whim, then slowly finish them as the plan develops, paying as I go.  One of these days, I'll actually do one the right way and plan it out and have everything on hand before I start.

I changed the belt on my snowblower (a device you have no use for) in exactly 10 minutes once. Every bolt and piece came apart and went together again perfectly. But that was my 1 in a million success.

Too slowly.

I will hope for your luck tomorrow as I'll be replacing lower control arms, tie rod ends and sway bar bushings/links on my car.  If it goes well, I'll have a brand new front suspension (minus struts). If not, I'll have a brand new repair bill

Happy Friday almost weekend night.

I am working again tomorrow but then I am going out to get Smashed drunk with my training partner for my birthday.

I had a good buzz last night after yoga and an empty stomach.. Whoops 2 beers at the bar downtown and it was enough.

I had a date lined up but screw it.. it is my Bday and I am going out to start a trail of debauchery right after work.

I get a 3% every year as long as I don't eff up and it's great because I'm just below some tax line and every year the line moves up a bit higher and my 3% keeps me just below it.

3% will actually cost you money though as inflation is running higher than or right at that, I believe.

Yep but if I got a 5% I would loose more taxes. So for me right now it's good

It's officially the weekend! WOOT!

So, I didn't get the offer letter until about 2:30 this afternoon, which I then got printed out at Tony's office, read everything, signed the necessary paperwork, and sent it back by 4pm to try and get it to them as soon as possible as I need to do another online background check thing.  I was really hoping that I would get the background check details today so I could have it done over the weekend, but I'm guessing they're not going to send it to me now.  Drat.

Oh well, in good news we've got friends in town from Kansas City that we'll hopefully meet up with at some point this weekend - and I'm DEFINITELY going to go check out a motorcycle tomorrow that I really, really, really, want to test ride.

Ha!  It depends on your definition of badazz... but I seriously WANT a Kawi Ninja 1000  http://images.motorcycle-usa.com/PhotoGallerys/large/2011-Ninja-1000-Static.jpg

Hmmm... is this little bird by any chance somewhat height-challenged and 1/2 Japanese? (he's soooo gonna kill me for that!)  I hope we will be  - that would be awesomely cool!
