Made it through teaching core class (and cycle) yesterday despite feeling a bit like I was going to pass out, especially during cycle.  I told the class sorry if I seemed out of it but they all said if I wasn't on my A game they didn't notice.

I can't decide what to do for my core workout after running today.  I'm so bored of the stability ball, planks, roll ups and V-ups.

You're in a gym, right? Go do everything on the back extension thingy and the decline bench.  If you're bored doing that, I hate you

I forgot to mention the main reason I asked for exercises!  Today I'm at home and only have a med ball, stability ball and dumbbells as my equipment Laughing

1)Do a youtube search for the most uber 80s aerobics video you can find.

2)Do the abs prtion.  Get some benefit from the exercises, some benefit from laughing your azz off at all the 80s fabulousness.

I don't know if this really relates to core at all but here's the first one that came up and get ready roll on the ground laughing:

Alan Fick AND Dwight Stone???  Talk about the A list announcing crew!!!

Loved the guy with the Magnum PI mustache.

Work has really been cutting into my time on the BT forums. May need to talk about that with my boss. Day 15-race day of the core challenge. I have yet to learn to embrace the plank, I'm awaiting an epiphany.

37 seconds in and I am crying.  Did those guys ever get laid?

There is so much wonderfully wrong with that.  Strong work, good find.

Oh yes...by each other Laughing

Lol. Right? I think I may have a plan for Halloween though...

That was our idea last year.  My hubby got a big old fro wig and went as Richard Simmons.  I had on an 80's style workout outfit, hair in a side ponytail.  It was pretty funny stuff.  My husband even bought girls' short shorts for that awesome Richard look.

I'm all caught up. 30 miles on the bike tonight, then a short run. Then came home and did some core on the floor.

Also, this is the most random off topic thing yet in this post, but since noelle and I both work out in the Detroit area, I thought I'd share this with you. Don't make fun of Detroit for our issues.

Core done with a little "help" today. My 2yo didn't fit in the pic, but she was sitting on my knees. It was a little crowded on my towel for a few minutes.

Besides, the neck thing has kept me away from core for a week.  I need some flogging myself.

Hey guys,

Didn't do so well on vacation....

Only got in a workout on Sunday and Wednesday... (Skipped 4 days).

Check in for yesterday

1 min each 15 sec rest in between except for during the plank combo

Plank to Pushup hold
Spider man leg thing while in pushup hold
Superman
Plank C-R-C-L-C
V abs
8 count crunch/pulse/hold

Had a great vacation with the family so I don't feel so bad... Feel free to ridicule at will.

See ya!!!

Still (?) in it. I had a week off, due to an unplanned meeting with an asphalt road. The road won, if you're wondering. But I am back.

I afraid I am slacking while on vaca.  I did not too badly for the first couple of days, but nothing for a few...I have been keeping up with my running and swam today.  I'll get back on it when I am home for sure.

Hey all,

I know that there's only 67 days left in this challenge, but I'd like to jump in anyway if there's room. If not, no worries.

I'll be focusing on sit-ups/crunches, push-ups/planks and dips.

Tri Noob here, but I've committed to my first Sprint at Lakeside, ON Sept. 14.

Cheers!

Hey Panther!  Jump right in.

Chris, you can add to the list yes?

By the way, the rule (I just made up) is that for latecomers an abs before pic is mandatory Laughing  We have a gallery of photos though I can't remember how to get to it......
